John Teresi Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Hello......this is a new magazine that my father just published.......this is a replica of the cover bike......I used a Shovel Head engine instead of the Evo. engine.......I used a Revell 1/12 scale chopper kit and a Imex 1/12 H/D FLH kit as a donor .........I scratch built and modified allot of parts......H.O.K. zenith base coat......H.O.K. black and H.O.K kandy tangerine.......all graphics airbrushed......"Pro Tech": detailing wire,t`fitting`s,bolt end`s,spark plug wire and fuel line......Thank you to "DARREN B" for the suggestion to make a "Arizona" gun belt seat......if you would like to see how I built this model please look in the "On The Workbench" section..........thank`s for looking.
John Teresi Posted November 28, 2011 Author Posted November 28, 2011 few more photo`s........thank`s.
Dr. Cranky Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Another work of art, John. Like I've said countless times before, your work belongs in museums. Can't wait to see what you got cooking up next.
Mister Twister Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Absolutely brilliant John.....It is a work of art!
Nitrozilla Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Luvin' yer stuff as per normal John. Keep the killer builds comin'. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving during your break. BTW, if you haven't seen it, Rom will be returning when he gets his computer back up and running. Posted here.
ewaskew Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 If it was'nt on a table it would be hard to beleave it's a model. That thing looks very nice. Great build man.
curt raitz Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Mucho Goodo! excellent model John... you've inspired me to dig out those 1/12 Revell bikes and all the extra goodies I've picked up for'em and build another bike thanx....I think c'ya
Peter Lombardo Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Excellent as usual. I haven't done a bike yet, maybe one of these days I will try one because you sure make it look easy and fun to do. I love the paint job, you sure nailed it. Very impressive.
Rob Z Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Dude!!! That's one BAD BAGGER!!! Your work never ceases to amaze me...
Tom Setzer Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 (edited) Like I said on, ON THE WORKBENCH, THIS IS A GREAT BUILD! Edited November 29, 2011 by Tom Setzer
Alyn Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Another beautiful build, Mr T. I've been bagged
Cool Hand Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Wow ! Amazing work as always,looks like a 1:1
Agent G Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 John, yet again you present another spectacular build. Don't take this wrong, it's just my personal observation, I don't like the angle of the bottom of the bags in relation to the rest of the body work. There, I said it, stone me folks. G
weasel Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 that IS the cover bike right?? lol 4th pic down, 2nd post, i swear there's a spot of OIL on the ground!!! lol most excellent work....
01blueedge Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I had to go back and look at the pics again I thought that it was a real motorcycle good job
Greg Pugh Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Dude.....seriously?? I can't believe your quality of work. I'm in complete awe everytime you put something together. I wish we could curse on here because that's how *@^!@ bad ass that build is!!
Bernard Kron Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Breathtaking! ...particularly the paint. For those of us who followed your w.i.p. I think the bodywork construction and finish and the creation and details of the seat had to rate as worthy of special mention (as well, no doubt, as the frame construction...). For those who missed it, go there now!!! http://www.modelcars...showtopic=49459 Regardless, the result is stunning, and, until the paint went on, even a little unexpected. As I said, simply Breathtaking!
W-409 Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Another Masterpiece from your bench, John! Great work with it, looks amazing even if I'm not a fan of this style Choppers in 1:1 scale. This looks very cool anyway, and that scratchbuilt "body" is something I can't understand, how someone can build something that nice!? Great job with the detailing again, and that seat looks very good too. Incredible build as always, this might be the best bike, I've seen. It might be the best just because I don't remember, have you built more motorbikes?

Niko.......I have built a few other bikes......I built this Bob Cecchini`s 1970 Honda chopper replica last year......it is a 1/12 scale......I also have a 3 wheeler on the work bench......thank you Niko......and everyone for the very kind comment`s.......I know I don`t thank enough but,I really do appreciate the comment`s........thank you!
Rob Z Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 John, the Honda choppers hold a special place in my heart... My first hardtail chopper was a '77 CB 750 on a Paughco frame with a 10" over springer. It was a fun ride and looking at this beautiful custom brought back many memories of that bike... Thanks bro, great job on this one too...
Cesar Bossolani Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 WOW!!! You are a craftsmanship!!! I really love your job!!! Cesar
gasser59 Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Stunning as usual John. I'm always highly impressed with your builds and you never disappoint. Can't wait to see what's next.
