I think it looks great, Erik. It could work for one of those "Real or Model" things, except ... How did it get there? There are no tracks in the snow, and it wasn't sitting there when it snowed, because it't perfectly clean! I think if you could add some tire tracks and some footprints, it would be perfect. I don't mean to be critical, none of my pics are half that good, just a suggestion that might make it better. Keep going!

What's that white stuff on the ground?

HA! Another Floridian in Hawaii! That just cracked me up.

Seriously now, Erik, those are some very cool pictures. It pays double to build models AND photograph them!

thanks guys,

i didn't leave any foot prints/tracks because i wanted a perfect background not it being rlistic.

the camera is a Nikon coolpix, and is the best camera i have ever used, theres no extra lense in use.

heres another pic the same way.

Yeah, I know that very well.

Really great pictures, snow is great "background", but I usually make the snow smooth, and hard (as asphalt, you know) so tires don't "sink" there. But great pictures. ;)

Actually it does snow in Hawaii, up on Mauna Kea volcano. This year 49 states got snow. None in Florida.

A big YES for Florida. I knew there was a reason for moving here other than to live in the same state as Dr. Cranky.

i've been in Jacksonville in the snow!!! coming up from some MX racing around Daytona/Ft Lauderdale area, 1975 or 76...

now last year we had a record, we were 72" above the std rainfall for the year, actually, since they've been recording things like that...

i know, not a snow story, just shairing...lol

i like the last pic of the Yammy, from above...

In that case, I withdraw my previous comment! I misunderstood what you were doing. The snow does make a nice background. Both builds look great, very clean and sharp!

Erik,

Excellent photography and some very nice builds, too.

You managed to get the depth of field on those motorcycle shots so that it looked very convincing.

Keep working on both, young man, and you'll be a master at them.
