curt raitz Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 (edited) Take a Monogram '59 Chevrolet Corvette #2379, Model Masters Prowler Purple paint, a set of Fred Cady decals and a few modifications...this is what you come up with. A model of the 1959 Purple People Eater MK III Corvette Jim Jeffords raced in 1959. He won every SCCA B-Production race he entered that year except the last one. more photos in next post... Dave Van Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Well done!! Accurate Miniatures planned on doing that car at one time. I did research and the decal artwork for the kit....but AM had issues and folded before it happened.

Len I used Model Masters Prowler Purple 2 part lacquer rattle can followed with Model Master Ultra Gloss Clearcoat Johnston from Scalefinishes thought it to be a perfect match... thanx Curt
