I had a can of '50s pink and my first Hudson so, what the heck. The hudson dealer had this painted for his wife, so started the new fad in the '50s and the rest is history. :wub:DSC03323.jpgDSC03324.jpgDSC03327.jpg

'tis a very nice hudson, even if it's pink.

Very nice ... the pink really does suit the Hudson,

yeah, funny how pastels were so popular then.

Nice build Ron! I agree that the pink looks great! Love the interior. This is vintage '50's Mary Kay...in the days before the " Pink Caddy"!

WOW WOW!! Great work! How did you do your chrome/stainless trim????

Thanks, The stainless trim was all done with Testors silver chrome and gloss clear. I'm not good with BMF.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I originally wanted to paint this blue like the box art but, felt like the color was already taken. If you want to use pink feel free to do so, it is Testors fifties pink. I like the "Porkies" idea!

I think the pink looks great. I don't know when I would be able to around to mine, but maybe that pink could find it's way onto another build. Looks great & thanks for sharing!
