Fat Brian Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 He made it to just about when the power really starts to come on.
hotrod59f100 Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 That's to funny. Not to the other drivers. But I love when cocky drivers crash as long as no ones hurt.
Mooneyzs Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Oh my that is just crazy.... I bet that driver feels dumb... haha. he shouldn't of gotten on it until after he made the turn and the car was straight...lol
moparmagiclives Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 That's exactly how to drive a Lamborghini, I bet they couldn't do that again if they tried.
martinfan5 Posted May 18, 2012 Author Posted May 18, 2012 his money, his car, he can do what ever he wants with it 100% agree with that, but not on public roads where he can in danger others, he is lucky he was going slow and those cars where stopped for the red light .
Joe Handley Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 (edited) Welcome to driving in the Chicago area guys, where money only buys you a fancier car to crash! Harry, why is we live around here again? Edited May 18, 2012 by Joe Handley
Harold Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Just as the light turned green, the Lambo driver looked at his passenger and said, "Watch this!"
martinfan5 Posted May 18, 2012 Author Posted May 18, 2012 (edited) I think the word that best fits the driver is dumba@# Edited May 18, 2012 by martinfan5
kingiguana Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Ive been seeing quite a few of the supercar crashes on the net. I think all these young kids that are getting rich from the internet are buying up these cars, and don't have the driving experience to handle them.
mrmike Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 That's what happens when you put a high speed car into the hands of someone with a low speed brain!
Darren B Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 100% agree with that, but not on public roads where he can in danger others, he is lucky he was going slow and those cars where stopped for the red light . agreed this was a slow crash but what if there was a cyclist on a bike or someone walking, you can do whatever you want with your car or money no matter how expensive the car, just dont get an innocent bystander in trouble doing it.
espo Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Just because you have dollars doesn't mean that you have sense. That's why untrainded drivers need traction control.
Greg Myers Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 I'm surprised, no one has commented on the person taking the video and then leaving the scene of an accident with evidence.
sjordan2 Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 (edited) The driver said he "just lost it" as he accelerated. "Whitaker lost control of his car after turning at an intersection (which, of course, was directly proceeded by Whitaker revving the Italian sports car’s powerful engine). Whitaker lost control of the 2004 Gallardo and sandwiched it between a pair of lesser vehicles waiting at a red light--a 2006 Honda CR-V and a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis. The drivers of those autos told cops that Whitaker took the turn “at a high rate of speed,” according to the accident report. While none of the drivers were injured during Sunday afternoon's crash, the Lamborghini and the Honda sustained enough damage that they had to be carted away by representatives of Gene’s Village Towing. Whitaker, president of Thiessen Communications, a commercial printing firm, did not return messages left at his office and on his cell phone. He lives about 15 miles from the crash scene in a gated community where he last year purchased a home for $650,000." http://newsfeed.time.com/2012/05/18/watch-the-most-embarassing-lamborghini-crash-ever/ Edited May 26, 2012 by sjordan2
