Chuck Most
Close enough to done. I do want to rub out the clear- ended up with some pretty bad orange peel on the decklid, and I might add some dual exhaust pipes out back. I started with the '53 Club Coupe, and used a spare '52 grille and steel wheels. The car is nosed and decked, has its door handles and fender ornaments shaved, and has been lowered. Engine is a Revell Parts Pack Cadillac V8/Hydramatic with valve covers from an AMT '59 El Camino.

Sam Cates
VERY NICE Chuck! Love it, I have one on the shelf, wasn't sure which direction to go, now I know, thanks for the inspiration. Live the color choice and wheels, simple, yet elegant!

jdcar32
Caddy engine swap is a great idea, really separates your build from the pack. How 'bout some Olds or Sombrero caps ?

Foxer
That really shows off the huge mass of the old Hudsons!
W-409
Cool Hudson, I like the color. It suits that Hudson body pretty well actually. Good stance too and perfect wheel choice. Great job with the engine, but little detailing would not be a bad thing.

rmvw guy
Nice and smooth and low, love the color and no hub caps necessary. The plain steel wheels in that color look good to me with the wide whites, and very period correct. That Cad engine looks good under the hood! Harold
I'm impressed. Nice to do a shiny one once in a while, isn't it? Really nice. Can you say 'moonshine car', boys and girls? I knew you could. Edited June 28, 2012 by Harold

moparfarmer
As nice as your Hudson is and many others there is just something that doesn't turn my crank for a Hudson. Wasn't fussy when they were being built and still not a fovorite now. Your model is very nice and well done. Clean,clean,clean...

Chuck Most
very nice work...where did you get the '52 grill from... I got an early '53 pre-production kit, which came with the '52 grille and open steel wheels, but the Tim Flock stock car and the new convertible are '52s and include the appropriate grille.
