This was a fun little kit to build. My friend Mark and I squared off building the same kit in competition for fun. I wanted to keep the build stuck in the 70's, so the earthtone paint scheme came of age. I didn't test fit the hood before anything B) , so I have to fix that so it clears the air cleaner hose. B) I also added Shabo tire decals. Anyway, here it is

Nice clean looking build Mike. I posted this a couple of days ago, but it dissapeared. I wish I could find a kit of a Firebird in the same model year, since I owned the 1:1 for 8 years.

Terrific Build! That looks real enough to start up and peel out.

and I too, remember those cars well.

lots of folks had them. a friend of mine in the Army had one in the early eighties.......

it was a puke pastel green with a green interior.

Very nice and clean work man, nice choice of color and the one I would have picked for it...... :)

Yup, definitely a '70s vibe going there! Nice build, pity the hood fouls on the air intake. I was in Canada during that time period so your model brings back memories of seeing cars like that for me as well.
