The latest video in car control from Mister Ken Block, this time it's in the city of San Fransisco. Gymkhana 5.

Let me put on a DEPENDS, cause i would love to ride with him once......

Glad I wasn't eating when I read that, LOL!

I saw this earlier today and loved the flying drift and thought the barge was a nice tough. Now if he can get Pastrana and his Dart in one...............

Do you think I could get them to shut down Philadelphia for a few hours so I could go run wild in the streets there? Seriously, this was fun to watch, there's no doubt that Ken Block is a master of car control, but how many hundreds, if not thousands of people were inconvenienced by the filming of this? Closing down the Bay Bridge for how long? Even 15 minutes from set-up to knock-down would cause major traffic tie-ups.

They showed a clip from that this morning on The Today Show - said there had been several million views in just the last couple of days.

I live by SF and they had the bridge closed for a few days a couple of months back so they could re-configure the toll plaza and approach ramp up the incline so they could continue work on the new bridge they're building. I suspect that this was filmed at that time. No way would they close the bridge just to film this guy regardless of how cool it is. The streets and traffic would have been pretty light due to the bridge closure too so it really would have been a good time to shoot this.

Big deal I've seen some grandmas in Houston drive like this. Jk he is good, I will give him that but what would he do with a real car? Instead of the toys that I've seen him drive.

nice video, my 4yr old son loves watching these.. :D

joshua, how much more of a "real car" do want him to drive?? that fiesta is at 850HP with a 4 banger(detuned to 650HP) in a shell that weighs no more than 2000lbs...it is a ford...lols

Let me add my own two cents to this: To me, a REAL CAR is one that isn't built from tubing and carbon fiber with a fully race-prepped engine, and that actually rolled off of a factory production line!

Well, I beleive this car started as a body in white off the production line, does that count for anything :P

If you really paid close attention to the video you would also see that they didn't just make this run once but multiple times for multiple camera angles. The existing tire marks already on the street when he entered certain areas was a dead giveaway as well as different camera angles shot where you would see a remote camera or camerman in the view if it was one take. That is impressive to coordinate so many runs through this course in a city that large.

I am a bit dissapointed though as he did take out a barrel when he was doing doughnuts around Pastrana. Seriously though, the man can drive.

Yea, I notice that as well, and my wife notice around the dirt bike area that he made at a least one white barrier thing go flying, plus the barrows he hit. The guy can drive, but I know it wasn't just one time in some areas, it was afew takes. Look at the trolly trucks.. look at the tire hoops around them, they are there before he gets there meaning he did that afew times. But he can drive good though.

Great video...my favorite of his series so far is the one filmed at the old race track in France...Montlhery...

Huh? That's silly...this car is a race car..as real as any other race car...like a NASCAR race car, Indy car, F1 car, drag car, etc...
