Sixties Sam Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Here's a couple of mine: Lindberg 32 Ford truck with T turtledeck, slant six power. Model T rat with Model A engine and lawn chair seats..
Webb Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Built from the Tamiya kit. Added fuel injection and velocity stacks, distributor and coil to the engine. Also added prop rod and Banjo steering wheel. Flames are H.O.K. gold to magenta flip. Body is Duplicolor Twilight Blue. Wheels are from the Tamiya Porsche 959 (narrowed a LOT) with photo etch VW emblems to cover up the Porsche emblems. Chris
southpier Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Model T rat with Model A engine and lawn chair seats.. share how the lawn chairs got built? thanks
Wayne Buck Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 I'm really diggin' this engine bay! VERY nice work!!
Sixties Sam Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 share how the lawn chairs got built? thanks Joe, I made the seats from paper and craft wire. I drew the webbing in AutoCAD, printed them out, cut them out and glued them to a wire frame. The ends and sides wrap around the wire frames just like cloth webbing does on a real chair, and they're glued on the back side. Each chair was made flat, then folded about 90 degrees in the middle. Sam
