Chuck Most Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Started for this in a community build headed by Pat Redmond. I'm about eight months late with the deadline getting it finished, but that's fine with me! Started out with the crude orignal Revell AG kit. Not perfect, but all in all I like how it came out.
Dr. Cranky Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 AMAZING, and so different it will stand out on any table any where. Great job, Mr. Most.
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 (edited) What they said. Just over-the-top too-cool. And that metalflake really makes it. Edited July 24, 2012 by Ace-Garageguy
cobraman Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 I wouldn't have thought it but you made a very cool ride out of that kit. Nice work !
91blaze Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 (edited) That's a beautiful Trabant... Never thought I would say that in my life. Edited July 24, 2012 by 91blaze
charlie8575 Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Wonder how the plastic works with that wood/cotton-fibre composite body? Cool. Charlie Larkin
Foxer Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 at a loss for words ... good thing I only speak Russian.
TooOld Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Now that is different ! . . . I like it ! Put a couple of vents in the back and it could be Jim Hall's personal "sucker car" !
Alyn Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 I can't believe it. I actually like it too. Nice job, Chuck. I thought you were going to just slap this one together as a styling exercise, but you've finished it off nicely. The color suits it just right, the interior looks fantastic and the fins are ridiculously cool. The spotlights are a great detail touch as well. I gotta get out more.
Jon Cole Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Chuck, your work never fails to amaze and impress me! Great imagination!

Chuck Most Posted July 27, 2012 Author Posted July 27, 2012 Chuck that's very nice , love the paint . How did you do the seats ? Is that cloth , clipart printed on paper are something else . Those are upholstery pattern decals from Scale Motorsport- they make quite a few different patterns, printed onto clear carrier. VERY nice stuff. First time I ever tried them- will NOT be the last.
ssroczyn Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Very nice build! Can you share the information on the paint you used? I like this color as I have a few cars I'd like to use it on! Again, Good Job! Steve
Chuck Most Posted July 27, 2012 Author Posted July 27, 2012 The paint is Duplicolor Malibu Mist, with a few coats of Testors pearlescent clearcoat sprayed over that.
krazyglu Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 I always love your builds Chuck. This thing is so weird and cool.
