Beautiful looking Vette! Love it - from front to end.

Can you make a closeup from your doorhings? Should it be possible? Tey look very small from my view.

That's a big job opening the doors on one of these and your's turned out fabulous! The paint looks great too, I'm guessing Dupli-Color? Also the red-line tires, are those the decals that came with the kit? I could never get 4 of them to workout for me, maybe one or two, then I revert to blackwalls. I love it!!!

ron, good call on the paint! due to the shape of the door its a challenging task to open doors on theese but after some trial and error i finally got it right lol. as far as the red lines go, they are the kit decals. the easist way i found to work with them is to put one at a time in some warm water and let the decal seperate from the paper and come up to the surface of the water. after that i dunk the tire under the water center it up then bring it out and throw some microsol sealant on it. keeping it on the water the decal holds its shape rather than pushing it around a tire  hope this helps

thanks for the comment

Thanks for the tip on the tire decals Jason, I am going to try your method. I still have two or three '67 Vettes in my stash. I don't think I will ever attempt to open the doors though, I am impressed with your's. Even the door jams look real. :)

Beautiful Vette Jason! '67 is my favorite year for the Corvette, and you did a great job on this on. I love the opened doors. Nice work!

The big block '67 Corvette coupe is, in my opinion, the best looking car to ever wear the hallowed Corvette name, and you've done it justice, but good! You did a great job on the doors, and I never would have thought of your technique for applying the tire decals. I'll have to try that trick out sometime!

Beautiful job! I LOVE Corvettes of any year, and the 1967 is my dream car. Although only 20 were made, I still want a Torch Red, with black strip and interior, L89 Vette with side pipes. Chances are, I'll never get one, but that 1963-1967 era for the Vette is the best. I hope to one day be able to get my dad his dream Red 1963 Split Window Corvette. His description of that car got me into the Corvette world, and also led me into building scale model cars. Got a 1953 Vette that I'm building right now which I hope to post here once I get the clear coat on the body polished out. The biggest pain with white cars is the dust.
