Art Laski Posted November 13, 2012 Author Posted November 13, 2012 (edited) Corey, thanks for the reference pictures, but John is correct. I should have specified that this is a 392. Sorry about that omission... Edited November 13, 2012 by Art Laski

Mooneyzs Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Hey Art...just checking in on this build. Sure miss seeing updates on this. Hope all is going well.
Art Laski Posted December 31, 2012 Author Posted December 31, 2012 Hey Chris! Thanks for checking in. I had to put this one on hold so I could concentrate on my long-term Corvette project. I just have to get that thing done by April, but I'm hoping to have this one done by then as well. I hope to back on it soon. -Art
Romell R Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Nice job on your four link set up Art cant wait to see this one up close and personal
Art Laski Posted January 1, 2013 Author Posted January 1, 2013 Thanks, Rom! Hope you're doing well. Anything new on the bench?
darquewanderer Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Just started watching this build. I'll be following it to the last.
DrKerry Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Liking it so far. She will be happy to have it!!! I'm doing a Willy's for my daughter only the one I'm doing is a 33 Willy's. I had a friend make up decals for it that say "Lilly's Coupe" as my daughter's name is Lilly. I'm going to go for a nostalgia gasser look. Pink, orange windows, blown engine and halibrands.
Daddyfink Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Oil filter on the early Chrysler is basically total opposite of the 426. Passenger side at the rear of the block. Most just use a remote filter adapter to relocate the filter.
Art Laski Posted September 9, 2013 Author Posted September 9, 2013 (edited) Thanks for the unanswered comments, guys. I really appreciate you all looking. So I'm finally getting back on track with this one. I will post some pictures soon, but first I have a question about the filter set up. In the picture above with the remote adapter, is there an internal pump that moves the oil to the oil filters or is an external pump needed? Thanks in advance! -Art Edited September 9, 2013 by Art Laski
Chuck Most Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Nice progress! As far as the oil pump goes- you should be able to just plumb the remote filters into the engine. The internal pump should produce enough flow to keep the oil moving, unless you're mounting the filters in the trunk or some crazy place like that.
Mooneyzs Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Hey Art... Its great to see you back on this one Brother!! Looking forward to your updates on this.

my80malibu Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 You made the door opening and hinges look Super Simple. Cool
charlie8575 Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Very nice work, Art, especially on that chassis. The door hinges are nicely done, too. If money goes the way I want, I might actually be able to fly out to NNL West this year. I hope I get to see this there if I can make it. Charlie Larkin
