This was kit bashed with the 70 AMT kit because of the better suspension and engine bay on the 70. I had to cut the engine bay off the 70 body and graft it on to the 76.

This is exactly the car I had from August 1984 until April 1986, until the floorboards rotted away. I weatherd the engine bay and chassis to what it would have been when I got it. The body was always good and looked good...it was under the car that rotted away...

traded this for a 78 Trans Am..

Outstanding work. Great craftsmanship, artistry and attention to detail. Kind of a bummer on the right front wheel not sitting properly, though. What body paint did you use?

thanks guys. Actually the car does sit on all 4 wheels. In this pic the car is sitting at a weird angle on the white paper background that I have under it, and it lifted the wheel off the ground. Here is a pic on a different background where its sitting level. It would drive me too nuts to call a car done if it did not sit on all 4 wheels :)

Hi,

Nice, realistic looking Camaro. Shiny where it would get washed and waxed and looking used in the engine bay and underneath - the overall effect of your model is very good.

Cheers,

Jim
