My first, but certainly not my last, car purchase of 2016, the gorgeous '68 Dodge Charger. Hobby Lobby, 40% off, the only way to fly for someone on a very tight budget.

Just from my local hobby store, its a Vallejo product, 35ml large plastic bottle. Item #790 Silver. It's great stuff, goes on smooth, nice for detailing chassis as it leaves no brush marks, much better than Tamiya paint.

Thanks my friend!

So......if I need a Ventura, I know who to PM right?

I made some kit trades with a forum member today. Thanks Edwin

Picked up 3 Mustangs, a '70 Boss, '70 Mach1 and a '68 GT.

And stopped at the hobby store on the way home for some paints.

Model Master Acrylics--Gold-Ford Engine Blue-Clear Blue- Flat Black- Flat White- and some Vallejo Flat Black

It's 2 days into the New Year and I haven't bought any models yet....I'm so proud of myself.

I got the Revell 2013 Boss 302 Mustang, some sheet styrene, green putty and plastic strips and primer.  Was going to get started on big thangs, but now I feel sick.  :( I did make a front and rear pan (of sorts) for the Boss Torino though...thats something I guess, right?

I got a set of BnL resin Super Swamper TSL Boggers, as well as 2 packages of black plug wire.... Not to shabby, (Christmas gift card order) SO, NOW I have to figure out what rims will fit those HUGE tires!

The postman was kind enough to stop by again today and drop me off a belated Christmas gift....I still haven't bought any new kits this year....yet.

Ordered just before xmas so not the fastest delivery from Japan I've had, but not bad with all the holidays either.

There's a nice kit review already done by Gregg in the review section so check it out if you want to see what's in the box.

And, shortly I'll start a new thread on what's going to befall this little roadster in the On the Workbench section.

Happy New Year all!

Wow Tommy, did you rob a bank? :D

Being as you scored 2 '65 Olds 88s you can spare one, right? ;)

Wow, Tommy! Hope we can see a build thread on the '57 Buick - that must have been a bear to create the master; I'm assuming it's a shortened Roadmaster promo with the roof borrowed from a Jo-Han '57 Olds. It's still the only game in town for that car and I've been wanting to build one because it was the first car I ever rode in.

Just arrived, a bottle of Plastic Magic and the Pin Flow Applicator, Rocket Plastic Glue, Pin Point Syringe Kit & Perfect Plastic Putty.  I just ordered The Scenic Snow Kit Deluxe The scenic snow kit by Deluxe Materials features snowflakes, scenic bond adhesive, and icy sparkles.    Watched their video on this, and you can achieve very realistic results.  The Rocket Glue is a thin capillary glue which has a nice applicator.  Works great.  The Pin Flow applicator is basically the same as The Touch and Flow, except a bit easier to use.  The perfect plastic putty is very easy to use and much easier to sand than regular putty.  The Pin point syringe kit can be used to apply the putty or glue.  Here is the link if you are interested:
