kacitgirl Posted Friday at 04:59 PM Posted Friday at 04:59 PM As expected decal sheet unusable but I'm sure I have some instruments decals somewhere 1
Bainford Posted Friday at 06:08 PM Posted Friday at 06:08 PM That is some weird decal degradation. Were they overheated, or stored in some super dry place for a long time?
kacitgirl Posted Friday at 06:55 PM Posted Friday at 06:55 PM its a very old kit 1993 release date so over 20 years old
rattle can man Posted yesterday at 01:53 AM Posted yesterday at 01:53 AM I have kits from the '60s with better looking decals! 1

stitchdup Posted yesterday at 07:59 AM Posted yesterday at 07:59 AM 14 minutes ago, kacitgirl said: its certainly odd I think the decals might have got damp, fujimis old decals often disintegrate over time and sometimes its can take less than 2 year. I've got loads like that and they are all 8s to mid 90s japanese kits. The revell and amt decals tend to be a little thicker which might be why they last better 2
meechum68 Posted yesterday at 11:43 AM Posted yesterday at 11:43 AM Good to know @stitchdup I learned something new this morning!
Dpate Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Check your Walmarts. Mine got another model kit display. When I noticed it they were on clearance for $17. I go in today, and they’re down to $11. I figured sigh why not, and grabbed these two. I’m not a fan of MPC at all, but by these being new tools, and after checking them out I’m impressed. Now to find what kind of aftermarket stuff is available for these. 6

HomerS Posted 52 minutes ago Posted 52 minutes ago I kept kicking myself over not grabbing the Cutlass last time and was fairly sure it wouldn't be there on my next pilgrim.....I was wrong! 2
