This arrived yesterday....

New FXX K with the detail up photoetch and carbon decals, along with the detail wire from Scale Motorsports I got the other day.

Picked this up at Michael's while out running some errands, availing myself of a 40% off coupon.

Now its time to start in on some projects.

Been looking for an unbuilt IMC or Union VW stock/altered kit for a while.DSC07403

Very cool! I just picked one up last night at my Model Meeting! Another Grail done!

Just arrived today & I'm very excited about getting started on it!

In fact, I believe I'll get going on it right away being as my '65 Fury build is stalled at the moment.

This was the result of a great trade with Al, (thatz4u).

I'm very grateful to him for providing me with this great old kit!

Thanks Al!! :D

It's been a little like Christmas around my house today!

Came home to 3 packages on my front step!

First was a trade that I did with "larry ray".

a sealed Moebius '56 Chrysler.

Next was an Ebay find.

A pretty nice AMT 1960 Lincoln Continental.

I needed another one of those like a hole in the head!

Last, & the most exciting was my re-plated parts from "Kustom Khrome".

I'm going to do a review of this in another topic.

Absolutely amazing!!

WOW, that chrome looks wicked. All I got today was some wheels I'm hoping will work for my Ford GTLM car, since they're the only ones I've been able to find so far. Hopefully I can find some tires in the stash that will work.

There are parts for:

                                 1963 Pontiac Bonneville

                                 1965 Plymouth Fury

                                 1966 Pontiac Bonneville

                                 1967 Pontiac Bonneville

                                 1967 Ford Galaxie

                                 1967 Chrysler 300

                                 1967 Plymouth Fury

                                 1969 Dodge Coronet

I also have a pair of resin bumpers for a '61 Oldsmobile 88 that I failed to get in the picture.

It's your model. But, I hope you still decide to build it stock. I don't know why? But, to me it doesn't seem right to modify this one. But, again it's your model. So build it the way you'd like. And not the way I'd like it.

Yes Scott.

And I don't believe that I will go back to Chrome Tech.

Bob's stuff is sooooo much better.

I had to go over all of these pieces with a fine toothed comb to find even the tiniest imperfection.

Absolutely amazing!!

Found this cheap at the Flea Market today. (Pic grabbed from the 'net.) Mint inside, all inner bags still sealed. And the original outer shrink-wrap stuck inside the box!  Also found some very cheap Off-Topic kits (aircraft). Will use those to improve skills, I hope:
