Picked up a can of Tamiya blue to repaint the SOHC for the '58 Ford, after my attempt to airbrush it with Testors acrylic flopped (when I removed the masking tape the paint peeled off with it, and coverage wasn't great in the first place).

Also picked up the Revell '30 Ford coupe kit from HL in Deerfield for trading material; I did give everyone a heads-up a week ago but no takers, so... They still have two '29s.

What are you looking for in trade for the 30?

Did a trade with ToyLvr ( aka Mike Adams )

And got in a pretty decent 1962 Imperial hardtop.

This one might stay here with me and go fairly close to the front of the line

Found two kits yesterday at a local antique mall. $10 for the pair sounded pretty good to me. boxes open, but no bags were open and everything is there and undamaged.

Picked this up just after Christmas, just need to find a proper engine and engine parts for it ....

Geoff, if you want the stock flathead V-8, use the one from the AMT 49 Mercury kit, there are a lot of those around...

Yes, I want to build it factory stock, but unfortunately the AMT 49 Mercury isn't too easy to find over here, and to have one sent over from the States would have cost me £30, and I only paid £20 for the kit

Got NOS '62 Continental sedan glass to replace the stress-cracked unit in my '61, and a '62 Ford pickup steering wheel:

With modifications, this should be a pretty close match for the '57 Lincoln wheel used in the Coronado boat. Now I just need an old Rambler V-8 to make into the Gray Marine 327 engine... oh yeah, need to get the boat kit too...

Vince and Tom - Haven't decided what to trade the '30 A for yet.

Drove to a hobby shop with a good friend of mine 'bout 40 miles away and picked up some freight cars for my grandsons Lionel train set. Stopped at Hooters for some wings for lunch on the way home. I could use more days like this.

Met up with a buddy of mine last night and picked up a clean builder MPC 1969 Coronet RT drop top . I had made an offer on it some time ago and he finally cut it loose.  This gives me both of the mpc RT convertibles .

just picked one up for £15, I'll probably make a mold of the engine and ancilleries, and cast them in resin, that way i can still build the amt Mercury sedan kit

Belated Christmas present to myself,  Harder & Steenbeck Evolution 2n1 came in today. Hopefully I'll have time to give it a go tonight.

Got  a turbine car,it has separate hood, trunk, doors and front fenders!

A Olds wagon,it is nice - a trip back to when they (the kits) were two a penny over here.

I just love Monogram kits and want to get as many as possible.

And a Bug!
