Talbot90 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 This my first attempt at a chop that I've completed. Very happy with the result and the whole car has come together pretty well. Enjoy.! many thanks for all the comments and help along the way Ian
Mooneyzs Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Wow this is a very cool Build. I have to day for your very first chop top, it turned out great. I am really digging this build. Nice Job!!
beeRS Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Nice chop there Ian. looks perfect. How did you do the open chokes on the carbs? are they photoetched parts?
Talbot90 Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 Hiya BeeRS, Thanks for the kind words. I drilled out the top of the carbs then punched some small alloy discs out of thin aluminium from a soda can ( actually a Jack Daniels Bourbon and Coke can ) :-) real easy to do. Ian
TooOld Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Great looking build ! I like the color and the smooth look of the body . Really nice engine detailing too , especially the carbs . Those old paint brushes came in handy too !
John Goschke Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Pretty cool! Great stance and some nice details. Good job on the chop, too.
Ace-Garageguy Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 That'd be huge fun in one-to-one. Great chop, choices and love the pipes !!
