Jordan White Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Funny how this kit is less than a month out from being in stores and there has been nothing in terms of kit photos, only a description of some key parts included in the kit.
Rob Hall Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Funny how this kit is less than a month out from being in stores and there has been nothing in terms of kit photos, only a description of some key parts included in the kit. Not much to show, assuming it's just a reissue w/ some new optional wheels and tires...
Jordan White Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 True but it would be nice to see anyways to see the wheels/tires they are using and what (if anything) else they're throwing in. Guess I'll just have to wait until I have the kit in my hands.

Jordan White Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Hobbylinc claims that they're in stock, so I'm going to order one and see what happens. I would have ordered there regardless since they have such good deals on kits.

Glad i didnt buy a 60.00 kit from the 80's now!
Jordan White Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Like I did say, hobbylinc says they're in stock, I ordered one, and it had an expected arrival date around the 16th or so. I'll let you know if it shows as shipped within the next couple days.
mademan Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Thanks for the heads up! Ive been wanting a 1/12 Camaro for some time now. Glad i didnt buy a 60.00 kit from the 80's now! wait and see how the styrene is...... depending on the paint you use, the 80s one is probably the better choice. Lately ive had allot of trouble with Revell`s "New " plastic.
Casey Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Here's what appears to be a box stock built up:
Chuck Kourouklis Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 And btw, those ain't the Shelby tires. They look newly tooled.
Jordan White Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Where did you find the pic Casey? Are there any better ones of the wheels?
jrherald420 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Where did you find the pic Casey? Are there any better ones of the wheels? Im guessing here http://www.revell.com/model-kits/cars/85-2811.html#.UqfMxvRDsxE
Jordan White Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Ah ok, last I checked there they still had the drawing posted.
Rob Hall Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Strange that they went with a high angle pic like that instead of one that would show off the new wheels.
Jordan White Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Yeah you'd think that's the one part they would want to show off.
Jordan White Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 The descriptions I've seen say that the stock wheels and tires are included.
hpiguy Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 The descriptions I've seen say that the stock wheels and tires are included. I sure hope so. Not everyone wants their car to look like a Foosebag.
Casey Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Casey: Are there stock wheels? Joe. From Revell's Ed Sexton: It will have the stock wheels and tires, and the new Foose wheels and tires will be all new, not shared with the 1/12 Shelby Mustang.
Casey Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Ah ok, last I checked there they still had the drawing posted. They must've updated their 'site since I checked yesterday, too. The pic I posted was found on Revell's facebook page. The "can barely see the new wheels" thing has me a little worried now. I guess I was hoping the Halibrand Cobra-ish wheels were what we would be getting, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
jrherald420 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 I hope they are nice rims. I plan on using them on my 57 Chevy build and building the Camaro stock.
bandit1 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 ... AND I PRESENT THE WHEELS THAT ARE AVAILABLE ON THE FOOSE CAMARO: (via straight off the facebook page)
