Jeremy Jon Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Wonderful classic designed cars, nicely built kit, yes would look better with door handles on, bravo!!
Dragline Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I have this kit and if it comes out like that I will be happy. Very nice Sir. Bob
TooOld Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Beautifully done ! I don't remember that kit looking so nice !
Eshaver Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Frank, GREAT JOB!!!!!!! this looks like the Monogram kit and it's not exactly the easiest kit to do as I just finished one myself . These Classic car kits were certainly some of Monogram Model's finest efforts . Comparing this to the Packard automobile kits , this one was much easier to build . I never got the Cadillac kits , so I don't know ho they compare .
Sixties Sam Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 A beauty! A clean classic build. Good work! Sam
sjordan2 Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Extremely nice. Any more shots of the interior and dash?
sjordan2 Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I just won a 1/12 1937 Cord on eBay today - a 2-seater Sportsman -- which I think I'll turn into a 5-seater Phaeton. There's only a 7-inch 1:1 difference in the length, which won't be noticeable. I'll add a back seat and perhaps make a replica of the Tom Mix (original King of the movie Cowboys). Lots of cool stuff like tooled leather trim, a Colt .45 shift lever and boot-shaped pedals.

Frank Posted August 26, 2013 Author Posted August 26, 2013 Extremely nice. Any more shots of the interior and dash? I didn't take any of the interior or dash, I* may have to take it out of the case and take some, stay tuned.

I'm told by a Cord aficionado that the longer wheelbase was just for sedans and the 2-seater and 5-seater convertibles had the same dimensions.
Monty Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 That Cord has always been my favorite car of that era, and it looks like you've done a great job replicating it. Any engine shots?
