Nah, it has nothing to do with the hobby, it was listing stuff they do not actually have.

I would be just as upset if I was sent the wrong scale, I hope you get it worked out.

got a refund, but really wanted the 1/32 vette at the price I won the bid at.

I lost a vacation a few years back because of a Niece's wedding. I feel that if I didn't need to give her away or say "I do" I wasn't necessary, but the family......

I am closing in on the finish line of a build, which doesn't happen too often, and I "misplaced" a slick. not one of the hundreds I have in the parts box, one of 2 aftermarket ones that fit the car perfectly. have no idea where they are from, and they match nothing I have. I KNOW it's around ...... somewhere.

I hate that. A few months ago I bought a model on eBay, on the Buy It Now and paid immediately via Paypal. The next day I got an eBay message that I got a refund. Guy sent me a note that he couldn't find the model so it must've been sold. Okay, now I have $75 taken from my bank account, and now sitting in Paypal until I need something.

Honestly I don't understand why this Irk's you. You have your money,You could transfer it back to your account, at least the seller was quick to return your money.

What irked me is that I got excited to get a clean built up, and then I didn't get it. Now I have to start my search all over again.

"Must've been sold" = "it sold too cheap this time..."

I'd watch his listings for a while, to see if it mysteriously turns up. Not that I'd deal with him after the first go-round. I had that happen a couple of times; next time around it sold for less...

Gee! You never stated that, in the original post.

Lost another bid on a model, an IMC Avenger GT, on eBay. Somebody slipped in and sniped it at the last moment. I hate bidding for things on eBay. More often than not, I do not get them! I buy a lot of stuff on eBay, but it's all on "Buy It Now" listings.

Well ... there's always another one waiting. Really, there is.

I'm missing our club's model show today because I pulled a muscle in my lower back 2 days ago and can barely stand upright. :(

Coming home from work a couple hours ago a truck ahead of me kicked up a stone & cracked my windshield. To add insult to injury this is a new $200.00 windshield I had put in 2 wks. & 2 days ago.
