blunc Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Nah, it has nothing to do with the hobby, it was listing stuff they do not actually have. I would be just as upset if I was sent the wrong scale, I hope you get it worked out. got a refund, but really wanted the 1/32 vette at the price I won the bid at.
LokisTyro Posted March 11, 2015 Author Posted March 11, 2015 While looking at all the great work that's posted on the forum I don't get anything done! Lol

I feel that if I didn't need to give her away or say "I do" I wasn't necessary, but the family......
tubbs Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I am closing in on the finish line of a build, which doesn't happen too often, and I "misplaced" a slick. not one of the hundreds I have in the parts box, one of 2 aftermarket ones that fit the car perfectly. have no idea where they are from, and they match nothing I have. I KNOW it's around ...... somewhere.
Tom Geiger Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 got a refund, but really wanted the 1/32 vette at the price I won the bid at. I hate that. A few months ago I bought a model on eBay, on the Buy It Now and paid immediately via Paypal. The next day I got an eBay message that I got a refund. Guy sent me a note that he couldn't find the model so it must've been sold. Okay, now I have $75 taken from my bank account, and now sitting in Paypal until I need something.
my80malibu Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Honestly I don't understand why this Irk's you. You have your money,You could transfer it back to your account, at least the seller was quick to return your money. I hate that. Okay, now I have $75 taken from my bank account, and now sitting in Paypal until I need something. "Must've been sold" = "it sold too cheap this time..." I'd watch his listings for a while, to see if it mysteriously turns up. Not that I'd deal with him after the first go-round. I had that happen a couple of times; next time around it sold for less...
my80malibu Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Gee! You never stated that, in the original post. What irked me is that I got excited to get a clean built up, and then I didn't get it. Now I have to start my search all over again.
unclescott58 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Lost another bid on a model, an IMC Avenger GT, on eBay. Somebody slipped in and sniped it at the last moment. I hate bidding for things on eBay. More often than not, I do not get them! I buy a lot of stuff on eBay, but it's all on "Buy It Now" listings. Scott
cobraman Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I always bid the most I am willing to pay. If I get outbid............so be it and I look for another.

chunkypeanutbutter Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Been sick for a week or so now. Chest congestion, head congestion, headaches, and my nose bleeds and stops every day. Five days in a row I've had a bloody nose.
southpier Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 hope you're seeing a doctor. that's sounds not so good.
my80malibu Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Sounds somewhat like allergies. I am not a medical Doctor, but I do fix cars so I'm a Doctor of automotive.
Mike_G Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 I'm missing our club's model show today because I pulled a muscle in my lower back 2 days ago and can barely stand upright.

Joe Handley Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 My sister feels your pain, her Challenger picked up 2 paint chips and a chipped windshield on the trip she and her BF made to and from Disney World in it.
High octane Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Oh how well I know the feeling of thrown rocks/pebbles on a windshield.
