slantasaurus Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 OK, its mid October so everyone should be in a Halloween mood. Only click on these links if you truly want to be frightened, the images can't be unseen. I think the most frightening thing about these is that people have bid on them. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lincoln-street-rod-rat-rod-roadster-barn-find-/300989473781?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item46145ee3f5 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1963-AMC-Rambler-770-wagon-CRAZY-RAT-ROD-/300988787837?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item4614546c7d
Joe Handley Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 The Rambler might be fixable, that Lincoln just flat needs to be put down.
slusher Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 l don't understand why someone would want them. They ruined a good lincoln...
Modelmartin Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 That guy needs to be reported to the ASPCA. American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Automobiles!
BluePopsicle Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 (edited) Think of the Lincoln as a giant glue bomb. Fix a little body work, use some creativity and a fresh coat of paint...it might look pretty cool. =) Certainly would be fun to see if you could turn it into anything decent. The rambler now...just makes me want to puke green stuff. Edited October 16, 2013 by BluePopsicle
Crazy Ed Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 I think the most frightening thing about these is that people have bid on them. That may be so, but you have to admit the Sellers are the most optimistic people on Earth given they've placed reserves on them!
cobraman Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 They both have bids on them ! Who the heck wants these things ?
Erik Smith Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 So much work into those things! Imagine the amount of time it took to make that Lincoln atrocity!
Deathgoblin Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Oh dear ugly! The rambler's not so bad from the outside, but the interior is atrocious. The Lincoln is just something that needs to be burned. I can practically hear it screaming "help me!".
Tom Geiger Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 No words for those! And both from the same owner.
2000-cvpi Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Those cars are a prime example of why you shouldn't use LSD. They took a nice Lincoln and destroyed it.
pharoah Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Owww! My eyes! OK who's going to be the first to built a model of the Lincoln? Anybody? (crickets chirping)
Skydime Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 (edited) Swap to stock front and rear clips, a little interior, some hydros, and some Daytons with 5.20s and that Rambler would be one unique lowrider. I didn't say sweet or cruddy, just unique. Edited October 17, 2013 by Skydime
JM485 Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 The only thing worse than the second one is the ebay poster's photography skills.
Tom Geiger Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 The only thing worse than the second one is the ebay poster's photography skills. Agreed! It's beyond me how folks can point a camera at something... and miss!
charlie8575 Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 That guy needs to be reported to the ASPCA. American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Automobiles! Agreed. People who do that should be banished to driving Yugos or Fiat 850s. Charlie Larkin
Harry P. Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Which is sicker? The people responsible for creating those atrocities... or the people willing to pay money to buy those atrocities?
slantasaurus Posted October 18, 2013 Author Posted October 18, 2013 Agreed! It's beyond me how folks can point a camera at something... and miss! It might have just been the camera trying to protest taking pictures of those things.
