Modlbldr Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 (edited) I spotted this at one of those "Come to Your Town Car Lots". You know the type that move into a vacant lot in town for a few weeks to a couple of months to sell cars and then are gone. The windshield flyer says it is a 2011 Camaro. http://i486.photobucket.com/albums/rr225/Modlbldr/IMAG0173-1.jpg http://i486.photobucket.com/albums/rr225/Modlbldr/IMAG0173.jpg http://i486.photobucket.com/albums/rr225/Modlbldr/IMAG0174-1.jpg They had it parked next to a black Camaro for comparison. Too bad it was never a production car. Later- Edited October 26, 2013 by Modlbldr
1930fordpickup Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 What was the asking price Tom? Lee the Firebird has been the better looking car from 70 on.
Skydime Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 (edited) the wheels just kill it Yep, very nice car but, I would defintely downsize the Z/TA stickers and go to a set of snowflakes like on the Year One "Bandit" car. Both very easy changes to make. Edited October 26, 2013 by Skydime
Modlbldr Posted October 26, 2013 Author Posted October 26, 2013 I didn't ask what the price was. I'm curious too, though. I'll have to swing by again and ask. Later-
dougp Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Tom, where was it located in Spokane? If I get a chance tomorrow I want to go by and check it out.
charlie8575 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I like the nose. Not sure about the taillights. I would've gone with different rims, too. Either snowflakes or the really nice GTA rims from 1989-90-ish. Really makes me miss Pontiac a little more. Charlie Larkin
Modlbldr Posted October 26, 2013 Author Posted October 26, 2013 (edited) Doug- Do you know where the old movie theater across the road from Safeway on Highway 2 is? The one where they do the motorcycle rider training? I think it was called the Newport theater. It is on the north side of Spokane on Highway 2 just before Nevada Street. Where are you located? chevyfever2009 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 There's a company I wanna say in California that makes the kit to turn any newer camaro into a firechicken for a couple grand
The70judgeman Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 the wheels just kill it Yep, very nice car but, I would defintely downsize the Z/TA stickers and go to a set of snowflakes like on the Year One "Bandit" car. Both very easy changes to make. ...or even those new Honeycomb's.
chevyfever2009 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Correction on my last post the kit to transform one is between 20, 000 and 45, 000
chevyfever2009 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 And now there offering where u can make your 2010-2013 camaro ss into the 70s T\A
dwayne4385 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 The company my dad use to work for made 3 or 4 of the csmaro conversions. I know they did a blue and a white one and they looked 10 Times better than this
TooOld Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 The kit has been around awhile . http://ztafirebird.com/
dwayne4385 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Not 100 percent sure this is the exact one
Modlbldr Posted October 26, 2013 Author Posted October 26, 2013 Dwayne- Now, that looks nice. I like that one much better. But then, I always did like the white and blue paint scheme. Later-
Guest Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Don't like the white one as much as the other two.
Skydime Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Not 100 percent sure this is the exact one Yes and please with a side of a grille and six lights please!
JM485 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 I think I like the black one more. Not that the white one looks bad, but the nose just looks a little weird to me.
iBorg Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 If you were to merge the nose of the black one with everything else of the white car is the best option in my humble opinion.
