jackrabb1t Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Hey all. Been lurking here for a while, picking up advice and admiring the extremely well built kits. This is my third model, and definitely the most challenging I've done so far. It's not perfect, but I'm happy with how it turned out. Trying to get better with every kit I build.
Silver Foxx Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Nice looking build and decal work , Tamiya kits are great to assemble.
Nacho Z Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I think she looks great for just your third model. You did a nice job on it.
bbowser Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Looks pretty good from here. Nice work, keep it going!
PappyD340 Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Looks dang good to me too, well done Isaac, and you have the right goal in mind I think that's what we all strive for as modelers a little bit better from one build to the next!!
1959scudetto Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Nice model of Jim Clark's first championship winner!
peter31a Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Lovely Lotus! Great build for only your third model.
oldscool Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Beautiful! Always wanted to build one of those.
Danno Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Looks dang good to me too, well done Isaac, and you have the right goal in mind I think that's what we all strive for as modelers a little bit better from one build to the next!! Agreed! Love those little old Indy Lotuses!
Rob Hall Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 (edited) Sharp build..love the subject matter and era of F1. Edited January 12, 2014 by Rob Hall
1959scudetto Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Sharp build..love the subject matter and era of F1. Absolutely - the 60's - though very dangerous for the drivers - had the best looking race cars of all time - F 1 and sports cars alike !
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 One of the most technically important F1 cars ever built, and one that will always define the golden age of F1 racing to me. Great looking model.
Plastheniker Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 A very nice build of a Tamiya kit with some shortcomings (years ago my kit had very poor, i. e. uneven, surfaces of the chromed parts).
