Jason Foster Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Here's my latest build. Pretty much out of the box. Sprayed with a base coat of model master custom lacquer bright aqua pearl. Then Milani nail lacquer pool party as a top coat. Kit decals. Think it turned out well for an old reissue. Thanks for looking.
Roncla Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 That color and the decals make it look like a real period piece from back in the day. It really looks great.
David G. Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Nicely done! And, no it doesn't look gaudy at all! David G.
redrod99 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 I'm so old,I remember paint like this on cars.
jrherald420 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Nice, i found one of these that was molded in the orange sparkle color at Hobby Lobby. Its still there if anybody is interested.
