70mach1 Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 And they said it couldn't be done... Considering it was an old kit, it wasn't too bad. It just needed a lot of TLC. The entire body was re-scribed, as well as the interior. The finishes are DuPont Laquer, BASF Laquers, cleared with DuPont Urethane. Parts box, tires, and white wall inserts, loads of foil. 1
bbowser Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Great job Andy, I like your color selection. I just finished this kit as well and know what a bear it was to get to this point
Lunajammer Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 A real beauty. Lovely color, great work.
sjordan2 Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 You had the same problem making the hood fit flush as I did decades ago. What problem did you encounter. and how would you fix it?
kendog261 Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Wow two of these back to back on post. Very nice build
Harry P. Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 It's riding a bit high (looks like an Auburn 4x4)... but otherwise, spectacular. Very nice work, nice detailing, nice paint. Just nice.
