Repstock Posted May 5, 2014 Author Posted May 5, 2014 Man are those nice. What are you going to use for a light source also how and with what are you going to power them? Everything is lighted (or WILL be lighted) with LEDs. I have a 12V power source that can handle hundreds of them simultaneously.
Robberbaron Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Awe-inspiring work! After seeing your Clark Station and Photo Booth, I already know how incredible this is going to be!
Repstock Posted July 22, 2014 Author Posted July 22, 2014 (edited) Here's progress on the station. This is slow work. Edited July 22, 2014 by Repstock
disabled modeler Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 As usual your work amazes me Tom....wish I had your skills Id build a few myself.
DR JAY Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Wow. I think I worked at that station! This is amazing...
Robberbaron Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 (edited) Just had to pick my jaw up off the floor! Those pumps are incredible! Edited July 25, 2014 by Robberbaron
jwrass Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Absolutely Stunning!!!!! I can hear the ding of the bell from here!!
Grumpa Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Beautiful craftsmanship Tom. The lighting, the pumps, the opening bay doors.....awesome! I can't wait to see how this all turns out. I also can't wait to see you start to do the little details. This will truely be a masterpiece when you're finished. I used to work at a Mobil station up in Massachusettes when I was in college, back in the early '70's, that was layed out a lot like this. Brings back memories. I too can hear the bell!
Repstock Posted August 10, 2014 Author Posted August 10, 2014 Here's the latest progress on the restrooms. The bowls and seat ring were Crackerjack prizes, and the sink bowls were aftermarket. The rest is scratch. Both restrooms. Men's room Ladies room
gasser59 Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Those are both works of art Tom. A Cracker Jack prize was a scaled down toilet? My how times have changed. Just how many Cracker Jacks did you have to go through? Really loving this creation of yours. Keep at it.
Repstock Posted August 10, 2014 Author Posted August 10, 2014 Here's the eBay images of the toilets. This is what I started with.
vincen47 Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Some of the best, if not the best scratchbuilding I've seen in a diorama.
