Thanks Bill! The mastercaster Greg Wann is going to cast mine........it will mount on the chassis of the Maserati 3500gt.

So it will be available in the near future. ;) And affordable too!

There is something fishy about this poll.

I made something like 35 proposal for new kits. Most of them are 1/25 & 1/24 car kits. Among those I proposed a suggestion for the Brasillian VW SP-2. The idea had moderate acceptance of about 200 votes until last night, but when I checked it a few minutes ago I found 838 votes. This means something like 600 voted for this idea over night although it has been there for two weeks and recieved 200 votes only.

Maybe people really like it? I know I voted for that but a while ago.

I didn't realise there were 2 threads about this. For anyone interested I've put up the following;

2015 Mustang (Not as many votes as I was expecting...)

http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/2270/

Mustang V6 Convertible (full kit). The V6 front end just looks so much better to me than the GT (and more Mustangish!)

http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/2527/

Ford Cortina (Taunus) Mk4. As ubiquitus over here in the 80s as a pickup is in the US.

http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/2126/

SEAT Leon mk2 and Mk3. (Selfish ones as they are my cars!)

http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/2167/

http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/2169/

I've also proposed some aircraft re-issues and a proposal for them to retool their old-but-still-good 1/720 USS Enterprise CVN-65 kit from it's current 1965 era fit to the final 2012-13 fit, so I can model her at her decommisioning. All votes appreciated!

Cheers,

Roy

Very interesting and Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry long list. Voted for quite a few, and added one to the mix USS Daedalus ST:TOS. Couldn't find a 1:1000 scale so I went with 1:350.

I have two military pickup trucks listed and for most of the time they went up per pair voting wise, which I also found odd, so also think there's room for manipulation if the numbers displayed, are the actual votes given for that particular subject.

But anyway love to browse the list, giving votes to subject which I like, will some make it to a model kit?, dunno, but IMHO contributing to the poll is better then sitting on the sidelines....

Right now the most requested things are 1/72 Russian troops! Come on guy's heres your chance to vote on some car models on there. I have three kit sugestions on there

1.1960 Chevrolet Impala wagon

2.1966 Chevrolet impala wagon

3.International harvester 9670 c/o

all as 1/25 scale kits the impala's have 100 votes so far and the 9670 has 30! (I just posted the semi yesterday!

I went through the whole list a few days ago and voted on several items, including ones that don't seem to have a snowball's chance in hell of actually being kitted. One car on the list surprised me with lack of response, especially from a German site: the late-'50s Opel Rekord. It had only about 30-some votes when I last looked, but they were common all over Europe and even briefly popular in the US. I guess collectors over there mostly want 1/43 or 1/87.

Revell Germany updated their 'Share your dream" website, now you expand your search in the "ground" section to, 1/24, cars, Oldtimer, youngtimer, modern, utility vehicles, etc...provided that everyone updates their ideas to include those tags.

I already did, check it out...

Thanks

That kit hasn't been around in ages.. Sure would love to get a copy with the vintage box art..

A set of torq-thrust mags and some redline tires would be sweet.. :)

Would like to see them bring 1/12 ferrari ' back too

No you wouldn't. Originally Renwal, it's probably the worst, most inaccurate junk ever to be sold under the Revell label. The 275 GTB is an awesome classic that cries out for a new large-scale tool.
