Two ends of the spectrum: I saw a mid '50s Nash Rambler, mid-blue and being driven by a younger 20's guy.  (Always thought you had to be Medicare age to be seen in one.)  Not pristine but also not abused.  Secondly, I saw a Tesla truck in the wild on US 101 about 80 miles north of San Francisco.  The brushed nickel color was even darker than photos that have been released but it didn't help.  I'll allow that I'm already prejudiced but photos you've seen don't do justice to just how ugly the thing is.  Looks like something they'd cook up for another remake of "Tron".   Between the Rivian and Tesla trucks is there an unstated competition for the the most visually abusive new electric vehicle?

At the mall today. We have a few of these Myers based buggies running around the valley.

This one looks like it is still riding on a stock wheelbase VW chassis, about the only way you can get a back seat for anything beyond a cooler.

Amazing to see what some people can accomplish with so little to work with sometimes.

Now that the weather in Florida is starting to cool off a bit, a lot of the vintage iron is out & about. I was able to get pics of these today. Don't see many of those Lotus Elan on the road down here.

While not technically on the road, it sure has traveled many a mile on the road. I'm in Indiana and this car had California plates. Driver stopped at an Aldi food store for more supplies. 20231214_120536.thumb.jpg.cdbbfa96461cd85e018aab406fa088dd.jpg

Interesting, it looks like it has a 70(?) front bumper and a 74 rear!

Back when the price of a good used '68 thru '72 Nova started to get out of hand many were picking up the '73 and later big bumper Novas and grafting the earlier nose on them. The tip-off is the shape of the rear side windows.
