44" tires and only a 3 inch lift from stock

Sweet truck! I have always liked the Icelandic styled trucks of wich we have  a couple. We have two Hilux AT and some Izusu trucks. And the first one we had around here was a Nissan Patrol.

I did  a model of a tire based on that tire, you can have the file if you like to build a truck for your desk.

Unrelated (mostly) but what's a normal in-service life for a vehicle living off road in Alberta?  I'm willing to bet its longer than a similar truck of 40 years ago but not as long as a pampered one in Southern California.

As with any vehicle, if you maintain it right, and use it, don't abuse it; then it will last as long as anything else on the road. And actually, if it stays off road, it will avoid the salt and stuff on the roads in winter, so shouldn't rust as quickly.

You might see more wear and tear on suspension or steering components. Depending on usage.

today was the second time I saw two (2) cybertrucks at the same time.  They were on a transporter headed the other direction.  My eyes still hurt.

911T

also a 2020-ish Bentley Continental, which was considerably larger than this 911

I spotted this tiny Suzuki truck parked at a local body shop.

Perfect bale hauler.

Saturday afternoon, driving along here somewhere in central Alberta, what to my wondering eyes should appear but a Scania cabover in the opposite lane.

By the time I realized what it was it was too late to grab a camera. I know the jdm cars are all over the place here but never knew we had euro trucks as well.

Neat.. but Man I'd hate to be on the road near it with the sun beaming down causing intense glare.

Yeah man, I coulda sworn chrome cars were actually illegal because of that... could be mistaken, but they probably should be because of the safety hazard on sunny days.

I saw this in a driveway. Looks to be a 55 or 56 Plymouth.

The sharpening service truck my son saw by Long Beach. I remember those around when I was a kid.

Didn't these save Chrysler? Probably the last drivable one in the northeast, lol. This one's at a garage, so maybe not.

Good old Plymouth Reliant K; my dad was tellin' me back in the mid-80s when he worked at McD's he was driving home one winter in his dad's 1981 or '82 Reliant (4-speed manual) and hit a patch of black ice, did a complete 360 degree spin, and kept going in the same direction. Sketchy stunt

Cruising south on I-77 this morning heading to UNC Charlotte with a bus load of high school kids on a college visit. There is one area approaching the I-40 interchange where there is a short concrete barrier, so my vision was somewhat impeded even from the seat of an activity bus. Anyway, first saw a chopped, channeled, open-wheeled Deuce coupe, patinaed, with 999 on the door, it was followed by another chopped, channeled, open wheeled coupe (29-30) painted a faded blue, they were being followed by a full-fendered, chopped 3-window 34, painted a very nice cherry red. Of course, being on a bus and them headed in the opposite direction I had no chance to get photos.

My partner in crime and I missed the Race of Gentlemen because he is anxiously awaiting the birth of his first grandchild. In the Facebook photos of the event this coupe kept showing up. I saved several photos because I have an old Monogram coupe just waiting for an idea!

So later Sunday I’m on the local roads and this one on trailer passes me in King of Prussia, PA (that’s what qualifies it for this thread) so now I really need to build it!
