A modeler named mike Posted May 3 Posted May 3 I saw this sitting in the parking lot at the local ice cream store. The owner had problems getting her started back up after stopping for a quick bite to eat. 1931 ford flatbed under reconstruction. After clearing the fuel line of debris she started right back up. 6

oldcarfan Posted May 3 Posted May 3 (edited) This was parked next to me when I came out of a store today in Austin, Tx. Looks to be a restomod. The paint is a really dark blue with gray stripes. The seats were aftermarket with OG style upholstery. Cool shifter, too. It had 10 inch wide tires, and big Wilwood brakes. Didn't hear it running, but the guy left the windows down so he must have felt secure. Also, I was shocked how small this car looked next to what are considered mid-sized modern SUVs. Falcon Ranchero Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Did some yard work for my Great Uncle yesterday, saw a blue '75 Ford Truck hauling some big tool on a dual axle trailer. And a '75 Firebird, kinda brown gold colour with orange stripes. Oh and saw this through the window in the garage whilst I was there: Big Bird's comin' outta hibernation. Evening cruise downtown yesterday; saw a '78 LTD 2-door; seen at car shows before 2

There is a gloss black one I see fairly often, must live somewhere close by. While driving around I've seen two others in gloss black, two in flat black, a red one, a dark blue, a light blue, a beige, and most recently a dark purple. Although I liked the red color all of them were still ugly, IMO. Someone has been driving a white one around the northwest area of the KC Mtero. Still as weird looking just more noticeable because of the color.

That gray on blue is interesting. Sort of passive aggressive. 1
