Guest Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 For you NASCAR fans. I saw 4 RCR transporters. The #3 should have been retired! Did not get a pic, but saw a Acura NSX yesterday. Not a common site around here. Also saw a 70 Dart and 68 Camaro overlast weekend

Jaguar man 21 Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 A red porsche 914, a black foxbody with a huge cowl induction hood and flames
Rob Hall Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 A previous generation Acura TL in a matte light blue w/ matte black wheels. Strange. Is the Teslas rare over there? Common in some areas--I see them every day in Phoenix/Scottsdale, less so in other areas.
Harry P. Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 Is the Teslas rare over there? Not "rare," but for the price they sell for, you don't see a lot of them. Just like any other expensive car, there are only so many people who can afford them, so you just don't see them on the road all the time.

Common in some areas--I see them every day in Phoenix/Scottsdale, less so in other areas. I saw 6 Teslas, a Vette club, 3 of them goofy lookin 2 seater 3 wheel deals and a really nice 65 GTO. All while driving through Phoenix this morning. Well, except the Vette club, that was on my way back towards Phoenix.
Mike_G Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Saw another Maserati down by the college- my mom was with me and I pointed it out to her, she said it didn't look all that impressive for a Maserati
Harry P. Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 I also saw a Maserati today... silver, in the lane next to me at a red light on my way home after my doctor's appointment where I saw the Tesla. Beautiful car! So I saw a Tesla and a Maserati today. I'll take either one...
Rob Hall Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 On the way out to dinner I saw a sharp black '65 Galaxie 500 4dr sedan..black steelies and dual exhausts..
Harry P. Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 On the way out to dinner I saw a sharp black '65 Galaxie 500... One of the coolest big Fords,
FullPowerGarage Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 I've spotted a G20 Van today!! A lowtop, haven't seen one in a while, the prices on those went way up in Europe..
Tom Geiger Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 A ruby red Tesla in the parking lot of my doctor's office. Must have been one of the doctor's cars... Man, what a beauty. I wish I had the $$$... I'd buy one tomorrow. I passed the local Tesla dealership yesterday taking my wife to a doctors appointment. There had to be 50 of them on the lot, and a bunch of red ones... my favorite color on them. In the meantime, my uncle is due to receive his soon, if he doesn't have it already. He's 72 and decided to treat himself to what he called "his last car". With his old guy thinking, he was going to get a silver one just like his son's because "silver doesn't show dirt". I asked him if he was buying a $90,000 car and he wasn't planning on washing it? He did go with my recommendation of going all the way and getting a red one. I will have to go back to that Tesla dealership and take some photos
Harry P. Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 I know they aren't "rare," but still... I saw THREE Smart Cars today on one trip to the store. That's a lot of tiny cars in the span of 10-15 minutes. Maybe the circus is in town?
Rob Hall Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 (edited) I know they aren't "rare," but still... I saw THREE Smart Cars today on one trip to the store. That's a lot of tiny cars in the span of 10-15 minutes. Maybe the circus is in town? I've seen 2 in the last week, and they weren't just regular 'ol Smarts--they were the Brabus edition. One silver, one dark gray... Speaking of Teslas, I'd ridden in one the roadsters a couple years ago, finally got to ride in a Model S today--went out to lunch w/ a group from work w/ the woman that has a red one. Very smooth, very quick, very comfortable.. Edited March 25, 2015 by Rob Hall
Agent G Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 I see Tesla's every day here. That model S is my dream car. I saw two old Oldsmobiles within three blocks this morning. One was a baby blue '64 two door and the other a bright red '65 two door. I'm not up on my vintage Oldsmobiles so what models they were escape me. G
Rob Hall Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Saw a very clean black Porsche 928 in traffic tonight...an early one, I believe (before the S4 facelift).

I would like to borrow one for a weekend, just for the experience.
Rob Hall Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 I understand that the radio in a Smart car just has three stations of circus music! I would like to borrow one for a weekend, just for the experience. It would be interesting...I've never driven anything quite that small..smallest car I've driven was a Mercedes A140. I generally don't care for small cars..
