High octane Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 What pleased me today was spending time with a lot of my family.

Ace-Garageguy Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 It's cool this AM (64F), and I have today and tomorrow off to get caught up on some things. Just dug out the crashbook data I needed to finish up an estimate on a '63 Corvette that got punched in the tail, I feel pretty good sorta OK all-things-considered, and I have a date with a very pretty girl this evening. Life could be a lot worse.
crazyjim Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Ya well, you live up in the middle of no were Jim. How can you expect to experience what the rest of the " normal" Floridian's do? Yuk. Yuk.Nice and quiet. Very few people around and normally a gulf breeze. Life is tough.
Crazy Ed Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Some of the Neighbors dropped by for a quick Drink and brought the Kids. Here's one of'em The background mountain is Bowie Mountain. On the other sdie is Fort Bowie
Tom Geiger Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 (edited) Nice shot Ed! I left the house about 8am yesterday and there was a mother and two bambis grazing on my front lawn. They watched me get into the car, and as I backed down the driveway, but never gave up any ground. They continued to eat as I drove down the street. But if I had taken a photo, the background would've just been my neighbor across the street's house! The other morning there were two young bucks on my neighbor's lawn... all I could think was that the boys are back in town! Watch out! Edited September 20, 2015 by Tom Geiger
Crazy Ed Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Thank You Tom. When I go outside and there's Deer in the yard I tend to spook'em off as I'd really rather they were shy of People. But when I'm inside, well they've left nose prints on the windows! Here's a shot I took Christmas Day last year. When I sent it out the Subject line was "'Round the World in 24 Hours, All Packages Delivered, It's Miller Time!"

charlie8575 Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 I had a date this afternoon with a woman who wasn't completely crazy. A little crispy around the edges, but in a good way.Even tolerates the idea I build models and have a model-(soon to be) manufacturing firm for a business. Gee, Bill, maybe the stars are lining up for us both.Don- I test-drove a Fusion a couple years back. Very nice little car, you'll enjoy it. If I ever get a new car and am in that price range, it's my first choice.Charlie Larkin
Rob Hall Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 I like the Fusion, have driven a few as rentals..thought about getting one for a daily driver if I moved to the West Coast..now that I'm most likely going to move back to the land of snow and ice next year, I'm leaning towards buying a new or CPO Grand Cherokee...having driven an '00 GC for 15 years, I've been very happy w/ Jeeps.
