The fact that it was hot enough today that I didn't need the heat on in the truck, or a jacket. Even went outside a bit without a jacket. Roads are clearin' up too. Probably not gonna last, but the warm weather's comin'. Which means the classy cars'll be out, and some may be lookin' for new owners...

Bench time tomorrow? wild weather ride over the next 36ish hours: Severe T-storms ( hail, wind, maybe tornados), 70 MPH winds and finish up with snow. All are stressed as possible

I was a bit bored so I was binge watching videos on YT that showed dumb drivers getting their just deserts from both Ms. Karma and her law enforcement counterpart Mr. Karma Cop.

One of my great grandads glass float paintings was used as a prop in a movie. The movie is called outrun and the sailing ship on glass was painted by him and can now be seen around the world

Very cool Les, love to see a snapshot if you have one. Glass painting isn't the easiest.

🤔°°or I can watch the movie. I did watch the trailer and it looks like a very interesting story, one that many can relate to.

I was finally able to obtain two comfort height efficiency toilets to replace the two ancient ones that are original to the house when it was built In the '60's. Both with oddball rough-in dimensions. After removing the one that had constant flushing issues, the problem was quite apparent. An excessive built up of sludge like goop stuck to the inner walls of the drain pipe that was Impeding the flow of each flush. Thankfully the clean out access was within a few feet of the clog making it simple to reach and minimizing cleanup time. Both Johns were easily installed without any leaks or mishaps. Next up for me to do on my list of plumbing replacements is the tub faucet and shower head when they are delivered. Then comes the kitchen faucet with all new shut off valves and pvc piping in the sink base followed by replacing a laundry tub faucet and the washing machine shut offs at the other house. Believe it or not, I really dislike having to be a plumber, but why pay someone else for I can do myself.

I hear you Mike.

But, I have the Cleanup Bills from the last time I tried my hand at Plumbing.

I call a Pro now. It's cheaper, than Servicemaster.

I try not to shy away from "most" home plumbing jobs. Now electrical work, that one scares me and I'm not afraid to call in a pro when its beyond my knowledge but I'm fine with the basic outlet or switch replacement or the installation of a ceiling fan in an existing ceiling light ficture and even replacing a circuit breaker in the panel box, but it is all done with due diligence and respect for just how dangerous one slip of a screwdriver can be.

I can handle those same Electric Jobs, Mike, but that is as far as I'll go too. Anything else, and it's Call a Pro.

A beautiful day. It's been sunny & warm all week. We're supposed to hit a sunny 75 today & then it all comes to an end tomorrow with heavy rains & a high of only 42 on Sunday.

Beautiful weather today.  Over 70.  Work isn’t busy today.  Looking forward to going to a concert tonight and the Buckeye Classic model show tomorrow.

After achieving setting a new high score on the A1C test two weeks ago, I've made diet modifications (mostly checking carbs) a long with an Rx.  Never a big sweets eater even as a kid (being allergic to chocolate took care of that!).  Wife tested my blood sugar yesterday......149 down from 273 two weeks ago.  Doing a call with the diabetic dietician in ten days so I'll know what other foods I'm about to lose from my life.  (The spicy noodle bowls from Sam's was a hard cut).

Was a warm but stormy day. Drove down to Columbus for Buckeye Classic show, got a few models and parts, chatted with a couple modeling friends.

I might, MIGHT, have a little S10 pickup becoming available to me in exchange for some work..... I'm a house painter by trade, and the guy has three houses that need painted. I wouldn't be doing all of the work myself, just being a huge help to him with it. If I do get the little truck, I'm gonna have to go out in the country where my parents stay to learn how to drive again, as it's been over 15 years since I've driven any.......
