Tom Geiger Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 RAIN! Real, live, wet rain. Not too much. No flooding. Just a nice, steady, refreshing rain!!!! Yeeeeehawwwww!!! and we're pleased that it stopped raining here! And that the hurricane went out to sea and spared the battered New Jersey coastline! Summer is over! We had the pool officially closed on Friday. I stood watching wearing sweat pants and a flannel shirt. Used our gas fireplace to warm up the den last evening, it's getting cooler.
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 (edited) Just downloaded and installed the Nikon View NX2 to replace my old Nikon Picture Project photo editor. Man, nice program. So far, so good. Now we'll see if it will talk to my old obsolete Coolpix L4. Drumroll please... Edited October 5, 2015 by Ace-Garageguy
Crazy Ed Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 For two days now the Clouds parted so I could see a Planteary Conjunction being joinded by the Moon. Yesterday the Moon was up by Venus. Crazy Ed
Crazy Ed Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 (edited) Great photo Ed! That's just super! Thank You Tom. If you like seeing this kind of thing, next Month on the 6th and 7th it'll repeat except Venus and Jupiter switch places! Clouds allowing. Crazy Ed Edited October 10, 2015 by Crazy Ed

Crazy Ed Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Beautiful, Ed. Thank You Jim.Indeed. Sure makes me miss Arizona. There sure are Worse places to live!Looks beautiful and peaceful Ed. Makes me want coffee again. You have a wonderful view everyday... The nearest business to our Home is a Guest Ranch. We do do a lot of sittin' on one porch or the other (we've got 3) weather permitting. Yep Carl, even if it's pouring rain it's still a wonderful view.
cobraman Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Very nice photo Ed. I don't get views like that in my part of Arizona.
Crazy Ed Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Very nice photo Ed. I don't get views like that in my part of Arizona. Thank You Ray. It's the Pavement that screws up the Views Hit the Trifecta today. The Rain I mentioned in my reply to Carl happened, and at Just The Right Time and produced an almost surreal Rainbow! And it was followed by this Sunset. Anyone wonder why I can't get any Kits Built?!
High octane Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Awesome photos Ed as they are called "money shots." Thanks.

oldnslow Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Got to spend some time at Silver Springs State Park with the guys at our club cook out. Had a great time, beautiful weather, good food and lots of model talk ( some of the BS overheard was getting deep).
slusher Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Ed, i didn't travel down past Phoenix when i was out there for a weeks vacation when i still worked but i was as far north as Williams and went to Hover Dam, Grand Canyon, Flag Staff, Sedona and many more. I did not want to leave. If i would have came to your area i might have retired there. Arizona is a beautiful state. Your pictures always makes me smile....

Carl that last line was the highest praise I could get, Thank you. Hopefully you made it to the North Rim of the Canyon 'cause it's a whole different world. Here's my South West Cliche Picture. I took it ~15' from where I'm sitting - Talk about LUCKY!
Joe Handley Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Accidentally discovered Speedway is building a station closer to home and work, and since they have been adding E85 to every store they remodel, rebuild, or newly build, it will be even easier to get after work!
