Danno Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 What pleased me today? A GREAT Goodguys weekend . . . and then . . . 14 hours of sleep overnight. Now, I'm ready for the week!

Ace-Garageguy Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 (edited) Just about nailed down a new gig here. Solid business, decent pay. Flexible hours too, so I can work on some of my own cars now that the weather is getting warmer. Think I'm gonna love this place. Edited March 11, 2016 by Ace-Garageguy
Joe Handley Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Got the 4 wheel steering working on one of my R/C Trucks, had to put an external power supply on the receiver because the Servos were drawing more power than the speed control could supply and causing glitching issues with the radio.

Chuck Most Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Saw a commercial today that pleased me. Well, I don't know if it pleased me, but it did amuse me. In it, a certain guy who played Steve Jobs in a movie was pitching Android phones. Those of you who like looking for deeper meaning and hidden messages can have all kinds of fun with that.
Ace-Garageguy Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Good luck Bill !!! Bill I hope you get the Job!! Thank you, gentlemen. Got it, start Monday. Beautiful Arizona sky shot too, Ed. I really have to start planning to move out there. Man, that's pretty.

Tom Geiger Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Living out here you either bring the Job with you or have quite a Commute.Couldn't someone start their own rust free old car parts business and ship to all us poor joes in the rust belt?

Crazy Ed Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Couldn't someone start their own rust free old car parts business and ship to all us poor joes in the rust belt? I think these's a few of'em up towards Phoenix and a couple in SoCal. Not something I'd want to do. My idea of Fun isn't crawling through Rattlesnake Condo's for a living!
cobraman Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 That could be another business Ed. Milking Rattlesnakes ! Isn't the venom worth something ??
Crazy Ed Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 That could be another business Ed. Milking Rattlesnakes ! Isn't the venom worth something ?? I'm sure it is to somebody, but the only Rattlesnakes I like to handle ain't milkable any longer
Ace-Garageguy Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 One of my closest and oldest friends had a minor stroke a few days back. He woke up in the morning and noticed he was having trouble finding words, but his balance was OK, so he got on his motorcycle and rode to work. 8 hours later, he rode home. His wife noticed he seemed a little off, they talked about it, and she took him in to urgent care. They kinda freaked out, and took him by ambulance to the large hospital here.Seems the carotid artery that the VA didn't clean out a few years back was 95% blocked. Long story short, he's doing fine, at home, and we talked on the phone this evening. He's still a little off, but he says he feels function coming back rapidly. He's a good guy, and I'm really glad he's not a vegetable, or dead.

cobraman Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 I have come across many rattlesnakes while spending time in the high desert in California near 4 corners ( Kraemer Junction ). Not a sound you like to hear when your walking around.
oldnslow Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Just got a new grandson, 10 lbs. 15 ozs., mother and baby are doing fine.
