In an alternative reality hover cars were invented in the thirties.

This model represents a typical luxyry speedster from late forties.

I must say that I am not at all satisfied how that clearcoating went on those wooden areas.

Anyway, building this one was a great experience and I learned a lot.

This is a scratcbuilt model, material is quite dense urethane called Sikablock, thin wood slices, aluminiun tubing and parts from various model kits and die cast models.

Stick a propeller on the back and head for the lake. It's a unique looking vehicle and you've done a nice job building it. I wouldn't be too concerned about the wood finish, when real wood is used on a car you should be able to tell that it is real wood.

that is an amazing build !!!!! and that would be a very interesting boat to be floating around on drawing crowds everywhere you would go !!!! very well done !!!!

I´ts not an amphicar nor boat. I´ts a hovercar, hovering just above the ground.

No wheels, no landing gear, just antigravity system.
