Fortheloveofgassers Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Very nice. Love the bumpers on your custom.
rmvw guy Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 The AMT cat on the back is cool. I like stock on the '49 too but, you nailed the '50s custom look on the new one. I always love your models Tulio!
vintagercr Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Tulio, I love your builds as they are nice and clean. Keep them coming.
Pat Minarick Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 I love the red rims on the custom ,but the stocker is really nice.
unclescott58 Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Another nice one Tulio. Always look forward to seeing your builds. Scott
DeeCee Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 So very nice and tidy, love everything about it, and i don't like stock looking builds. SUPERB JOB!!!
Tom Geiger Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 I love the contrast between your two cars! Great builds, especially starting in the parts box for the custom!
Ryan S. Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Nice job on both! How did you do the firewall on the custom? The look is a nice touch.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted December 25, 2014 Author Posted December 25, 2014 Guys, thank you very much for all the positive feedaback!!! I'm also sorry for not being able to answer before, as I was getting problems connecting to the site. Kept getting a error 403 message. Looks like you are curious about the firewall detail. I would love to say I used some fancy technique to do that, BUT I didn't. I just glued a piece of the seal of a powder milk can to the firewall. It already comes in that cool "diamond" pattern. Take a look: The secret of the firewall. by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr I used to trow those away, because on factory stock modeling I saw no use for them, but started to keep them.
MsDano85gt Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 The battery terminal clamps (cable ends) that are bolted to the posts on the battery are they "LEGO" man hands? thats sort of what they resemble care to share what they are or where you get them or how you make them?

That battery came from a Pontiac Catalina kit. Other than detail painting, I did nothing to it.
