RAMBENNA Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 just finished these two subjects, one is Revell / Monogram 71 Plymouth GTX. a quick build painted with Tamiya TS-94 Metallic Gray spray. the 76 Blazer is MPC RESCUE snap kit painted with TS-19 Metallic Blue spray.
chunkypeanutbutter Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Both look good, but you're missing a gas cap on the Blazer.
1930fordpickup Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 They do look good. Miles you are showing your age , those were always missing a gas cap back then.
StevenGuthmiller Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Both look good, but you're missing a gas cap on the Blazer. A nice red shop rag will take care of that. Nice work! Steve
peekay Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Nice work! BTW is that James Garner (RIP)? Great looking figure anyway, where do I get one?
Nacho Z Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I absolutely love that GTX !!! Great job, Cliff.
unclescott58 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I like both models, but I'm really impressed with the way the Blazer turned out. I've thought about trying to build a stock version myself, but questioned if it was worth doing with that kit or not. Scott
Monty Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Wow, I wish I could get stuff done that quickly! Nice work on these two. Also, thanks for posting the mfr info for the paints you used. Some of us get inspired by paint colors they see on other people's builds, so it's nice to know exactly what was used.
RAMBENNA Posted January 6, 2015 Author Posted January 6, 2015 thanks everyone , the figure is from a ebay store AMODEL CLUB they have great stuff from Australia. the hole on the Blazer is for a whip antenna that was to thick making a new one.
Sixties Sam Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Your year is off to a good start! Nice builds! I like them both! Sam
Bob Ellis Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Looks like Jim Rockford in 1/24 scale next to the GTX?
