Second build completed for the year!

Probably one of the most difficult kits I've ever built, very challenging the BMF and final assembly...talk about EPIC  !

But in the end I was happy how it turned out, I was inspired by a picture I saw with pretty much the same colour and wheel style ;)

Tamiya TS-60 Pearl Green which is a real nice colour, happy how it turned out complemented with some colours to suit the overall look...

Just a few minor details for the engine, had to trim the tri-carb set up to allow for the hood to shut flush, wheels are from Pegasus and a few bits and pieces from my spares box ;)

Cheers

Ray

Here's the pic that gave me the inspiration

The wheels and tires a perfect Ray. I love the lines of the '59.

The Bathurst 12 hr must have been exciting. Just watched the end on youtube.

Other than that little niggle tho ...

love the color.. nice work.. looks like the same color I used on my 50 olds and my 58 Belveldere. I need to find more of that paint to finnish the 58

Beautiful. That interior had to be a bear to foil.
