Happy Friday the 13th. History lesson: the knights templar were rounded up and slaughtered. That is where the history of it being bad luck came from. Guess it was for them!

Pretty anticlimactic whaddnit?

Those poor souls out in Port Dover yesterday tho...Whew

(every Friday 13th Motorcyclists gather in P/Dover, but yesterday it was -9* C)

Turnout was kept to a minimum I'm sure

My mother died on Friday the 13th. I was in a car accident (not of my own doing) on Friday the 13th....... so yeah I'm always happy to get in the door in one piece and see the 14th show up.

Saturday the 14th was the day you had to watch out for

Yes, here on the East Coast we are anticipating a storm, starting this afternoon. We cancelled our model club meeting, seems we might get there fine but the storm is predicted to start while we are at our meeting, so it's best to err on the side of safety. No sense putting folks in harms way for model cars.

Wow.....Lol!

My birthday is January 13th, and yes the day I was born was a Friday. It must not be too bad of a day, I'm still alive and kickin'.

Ah, but was it lucky or unlucky for the others around you? I was born on a Friday. But, it was the 7th of February in 1958. And knowing my mother, she would have told you, "Friday the 7th was a bad luck day!" I was not the best child in the world. But, at the same time my mother was not the nicest person in the world either. So, maybe Friday the 7th was bad luck for both of us.

How sad. I was a little angel. :)

In January 1967 (age 6 1/2) I was looking at my new calendar and wrote "BAD LUCK DAY" in big black letters on Friday, Jan 13. My mother saw it and reminded me "You have a new baby brother or sister due that day." So I said OK and fixed it to say "NEW BABY BAD LUCK DAY." My mother wasn't too pleased! (My new little brother didn't take any chances; he made his entrance on Thursday the 12th.)
