Guest Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Wow, that is VERY nice. May have to take a look at getting this one.
Captain Obvious Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 That looks GREAT! I love the color and wire wheels! This is mine, using wheels and tires from Revell's '79 Z-28 and Testors Root Beer lacquer...
Tonioseven Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Terrific work!! Here's one I built a few years ago...
w451973 Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Those are some fine looking Monte Carlo's gujys. I had a triple black 73. Fully loaded and had swivels and a console. I wish someone would make a trans kit so I can build that.

Taken in '76 - can't believe it's the only photo we have... )
carrucha Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Cool Monte Carlo. Well built and finished. This car looks good factory stock or lowrider.
rustybill1960 Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 I like Your choice! Thank You for sharing Later Russ
Eric N. Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Beautiful! Perfict colors! I did a green low rider. Now I'm working on a blue 70's street machine. And later I will do a red on red stock version.
Mister Twister Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 My freshman year in high school was 1976 and my dad bought my mom a new Monte Carlo that year. It was I believe called Firethorn red and it had the half white vinyl top with a white interior...It was a nice car. This thread brought back memories. Great job on all the models posted.
charlie8575 Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 I have a can of that downstairs. I might use that for my car. Nice job on that. Charlie Larkin
YBlock292 Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Indeed some good looking Montes in this thread. Congratulations to You Benjamin to Your build. Perhaps it is the fact that your location - Nice - is not far away from Monte Carlo that influenced Your work on the MC-kit so positively Best regards neighbor Ludwig
spencer1984 Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Very nicely done, I like the clean look you went with!
mustang1989 Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 My uncle had one of these cars and for I used to love that thing. Your build here is very realistic. I like the job you did on the paint and wheels Benjamin. You've got yourself a nice lookin' model there bud!
