I've built many models for my friends and family for free.   I finish maybe 4-5 models per year and at least one I give away.   I have also built a few for commission for people who ask, and who I do not not know.  I'd never charge a good friend or family member.  I might ask them to buy the kit, assuming I don't already have it.

Years ago I switched to the 2 part urethane clear.  Only that stuff is just nasty smelly and...well nasty.

I have tried a couple of cans of Tamiya clear and never was able to master it.  I eventually switched to Testors Wet look and I much prefer it to any other clear.   I do decant and spray it from the airbrush.  The only time I don't use it is when I run out.  I have a ton of the 2 part left, so I'll shoot that in a pinch because it does give outstanding results.

The other clear that I used to use is Plastikote T5.  It lays on really smooth and bright right out of the can.  I used this all the time before I started airbrushing.

No I don't watch any car shows on TV as they don't do anything for me and the drama stinks also. I really enjoy 1:1 cars by going to car shows, cruise nights, drag strips, etc. I also belong to four model car clubs as well, and a few internet forums too.

I agree.  However I do like Chasing Classic cars and Wheeler Dealers a lot.  No drama, juat cars and guys talking about them. But the best is Jay Leno's garage on the internet.
