Thanks! 35 years tomorrow! No lock on the door but it sits flush and there is a slot to open it about 3 feet up, out of reach of the grandson. Later- -
Definitely! Any help is gladly accepted. Later-

With the coming visit this week of my 2 1/2 year old grandson, I (OK- My wife) figured it would be a good idea to add a bit of insurance to my display case. So, with major trepidation, I carefully slid my display case out of the way and added earthquake straps anchored to the top to keep it from tipping. In all honesty, this was needed anyway since this thing sits on carpet and was a bit wobbly anyway. 10 minutes worth of work and it was firmly back in place. I feel better now- as much for having it secured as for getting this out and back without damaging anything. Of course, the first thing my wife asked was how come I didn't turn the straps down so they wouldn't be seen......Doh!!! First pic shows my helper/inspector Georgia. Later-

Thanks. The body is sitting a bit too far back but it is just loose on the frame. It sits where it needs to be once I hold it in place. The problem with the picture I took is that I had the body sitting where it should be and then decided to put the hood in place for the picture and it moved the body a bit. As far as the ride height, it is a bit of the same answer along with the fact that he said there was about two inches of clearance between the tires and rear fenders. The rear will sit a bit lower in the final mock up. Later-

Thanms fellas. The foil on this is taking quite a while. Worked another two hours on it last night during our club meeting. Got most of the drivwr's side done. Still needs the wheel arches done. Got it mocked up for ride height too. The body is sitting a bit too far back as evidenced by how the rear axle seems to be too far forward. Later-

Making a bit of progress on this project this week. Been extremely busy the last few weeks and hasn't left much time. I did manage to get the front suspension lowered and installed but no pics. Today I have been working on the BMF. Most of one side done. Just the window feames to do. But for now I have housework to get finished. Later-

Picked up this built-up for $10 at the sale the other day along with the paint and Pie Wagon. Whoever had it before was a HEAVY smoker. So, today it goes into a soak of Lysol cleaner and warm water. Next will be a good scrubbing. May pull the engine for use in something else and make this a curbside. Later-

Went to a sale today and got all of this paint for $40. Mostly all is unused. Also picked up another Pie Wagon for $15. Only the engine is started. Later-

Wow! I just read through this entire build and I am truly amazed at the restyling work you accomlished. I am currently working on a 63 rebuilder myself so I was interested to see where you went with this. You have pulled off an excellent job of making a custom out of an already beautiful design and made it all flow even more beautifully. Great job! I'll be watching to see the wrap up on this. Later-
