MCM Ohana (6/6)

  1. That is a small town, west of Toledo Ohio. Indianapolis is not to far away but still a drive. They have steam tractors there before the 4th of July, if i remember right.
  2. I am not sure of yoir location but this is a very large bike swap meet. The guy that has wheels through time museum (in Pennsylvania I believe) goes to this. He has talked about it on his site.
  3. With looking at the parts layout i think we will see at least 2 more releases from this tooling. A truck and a delivery would be my guess. The running boards look more like comercial units to me. Being they all have the same wheel base but some have different rear fender widths though. Sorry if this has already been mentioned.
  4. He will be missed for sure. Prayers for his family and friends. RIP Snake.
  5. I think you will have to get a new case for that. I don't believe JB weld would hold for very long. Do you know anyone that welds aluminum?
  6. Around here the week without the sale is the time to see what they have. I am sure early monday the retirees hit the store (as they should) for the stuff they need. There are always empty spots during the sale dates but not so much when no sale.
  7. Good luck. There. was a nice place in Blissfield MI like this. The guys that ran it aged out last I was told. There is even a dinner mystery train very close thay still runs on the weekends. The town is small though, a lot of farm land around there.
  8. Very interesting car. May not be my cup of tea as you say but it is your cup of tea. That is all that maters. The fins are cool and a nice touch. When looking at a good custom like this you can always get more ideas for your own projects.
  9. This is very nice. Great topic for a scratch build. For the front glass some people have used a 2 liter bottle.
  10. Ask your barber what brand he uses. Sallys might carry mpre than a wall mart. May not be cheap.
  11. This is nice. Nice to see something different.
  12. I just figured with the difference between elavation, and other conditions between the 3000 mile treck would be different than a closed coarse even a long one. So that even the best carb adjustment would not be the same along the way. Would there not be enough of a difference with just a car running along the way? Just asking Bill because this is your department for sure, trying to learn something here.
  13. Being this is a "race" across the country how much time do you have to stop and adjust the carbs while driving at 120 mph? I understand this is all fictional but EFI would be the way to go for this application.
