  1. I'll be cutting the "roll bar" off, and adding a Coyote engine. A half-cab conversion would be cool too. 😎
  2. I saw these Mangustas at Mecum Indy this summer, total eye candy! ðŸĪĐðŸĪŠ If someone offers these as kits I'd be interested in both versions.
  3. John, I have a huge interest in the Ford racers and race cars of the 60s, especially the AFX Mustangs. So, I've done a quite of bit of research on the history of the AFX cars. Your uncle ran the silver Mustang in 1965, and early 1966. He also ran a red Mustang briefly in 1966. It's not clear if there were 2 separate cars, or just one. I believe there were 2 cars, with the red car being destroyed in the accident that took his life. Where the silver car ended up is a mystery to me. If you can shine a light on any of this, I'm all ears!
  4. I've always wondered why MPC didn't have the correct graphics in that kit.
  5. The pictures of the parts trees don't match the actual trees, and there's an extra fan shroud.
  6. 66 Cyclone Hardtop/Convertible 67-68, 70 Cougar 68-69 Cyclone 68-69 Fairlane/Torino Hardtop/Convertible 65-70 Mustang Convertible 68 Shelby Convertible 70-71 Cyclone 60-70 Galaxie convertible
  7. I bought a very nice resin '68 Torino hardtop from MCW a couple of years ago. I would give them a try...... https://mcwfinishes.com/shop/ols/categories/resin---kits-bodies-and-accessories
  8. As for future releases, I'd like to see a '71 429SCJ Mach I, '71 Convertible, '72 Sprint, '73 Eleanor and..... a '71 Boss 302.🏁 😎
  9. Great work! I'm interested in the brick walls... Would this be what you are using?..... https://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/pls/pls91612.htm
  10. There were probably 100 cars on the streets of Detroit that could and did blow this car's doors off. It's a stock Hemi, and the hype over this car is complete BS. ðŸ’Đ😆
  11. Is this the source?...... https://kitformservices.com/ I'm not seeing this one on their site.
  12. The Bowani car is/was the ex-Tasca Ford 65 Mustang. Here's what it looked like at Carlisle in 2012.... Here's your decals.......... https://www.ebay.com/itm/403897580483
  13. I'm a hard-core Ford (only) guy and IMO, the '68 Galaxie is a much more attractive car than the '67. I'd sure like to see some other Ford kits as well...... 60-61 Comet 64-65 Falcon (street car) 65-70 Mustang Convertible 66 Cyclone 67-68 Cougar 69-70 Mach I (original tooling) 66-67 Fairlane Convertible 68-69 Fairlane/Torino Hardtop & Convertible 68-69 Cyclone fastback 69 Boss 429 70 Cougar 70-71 Cyclone 70-71 Torino Convertible 69-72 Maverick & 71-72 Comet AND this......
  14. That's way cool! I found this picture of a pastel green '67 Fairlane GT that I really dig. So, for my first build of the new '66 Fastback I'm using Rustoleum Ocean Mist, which seems to be a good match. White GT stripes and white interior along with the kit Torque Thrust rims will finish it off. 🏁😎
  15. Nice work, kinda looks like Ford's Silver Jade color. There actually was ONE Silver Jade Boss 429 made in 1969.
  16. Steve, I'd like to see the 68-69 Torino/Cobra and the 67-68 Cougar brought back. Also, a 68-69 Cyclone would be very cool! Thx, Ron
