A Harley Davidson version of your Lonestar I thought would be out by now. I'd love to see new trucks but I understand the money issue I due my best to support your ventures by buying your products. Ok my vote for trailers A modern race care hauler, a dry chemical pumper, a drop gooseneck, Spead axle flatbed. Thanks for listening. Looking forward to your car and pickup kits coming soon.

Snapkit mustang with slixx decals. Tires and front wheels from my parts box. Painted Ford oxford white. Rear wheels from WJ Prostock. I'll add cage to interior detail and remove back seat. There is only chassis plate and no working hood so it's a curbside. Just mocked up to see how it will look for now. Lots more to go. Fun project. Only artist concepts have been released of what the new cars might look like so this is pure fantasy.

Revell Sox & Martin Pro Stock Cuda
Bowtienutz replied to kitswapper's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
glad someone is paying attention Cruz. ! After our chat at the meeting Looks like you followed along very well. This goes back to the links I posted on page three of this post. many years ago my friend Frank Kokosza built the must accurate 70 barracuda you can imagine. The Revell kit won't hold a candle to Franks build. You can find lots of pictures and a description of what he did and what you might want to fix with the help of Frank's extensive research here. http://public.fotki....70_cuda/engine/ http://public.fotki....martin_70_cuda/ -
Multiple license plates in trucks?
Bowtienutz replied to angelo7's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
From what I remember Pa law said truck (tractor and trailer and trailer registered in Pa must display license plate on rear). Out of state plates & Tax Stamp plates must be on front bumper. (Those are the small license plates that have small stickers attached, some states would endorse the truck that way). Another way to endorse other than registering the truck was with tax the fuel that stamp that was placed on the side of truck. -

Wood Brothers Car Hauler
Bowtienutz replied to 2002p51's topic in Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Great Job Drew I'm crazy nuts about race car haulers of all types. Hard to find reference photos for them. I was working on the Prudhomme hauler. I contacted him about some measurements so I could get it right. The responce I got got back was like a threat from an a legal department basicly don't you dare and get off the planet. Hopefully the new owner will be more accomidating to me and I can build an accurate representation. -
I've bought parts from Steve many times and have been very happy excellent quality and fast shipping. Very unique parts. either highly modified kit pieces or scratchbuilt. My latest order included the parts to to build a a 427 SOHC engine. I purchased everything he offered to insure a perfect fit. parts looked super individually. When I attempted assembly It was a nitemare, Assembling the front cover to his block and the heads to align with the front cover caused a giant gap between the intake manifold and his heads. It was the one and only time I was disappointed with his products but I'd still buy from him again. He's a great guy and his stuff is fantastic. When you you have a vendor that doesn't screw around and ships your product promptly and It's good stuff you can order with confidence.

Futurattraction website woes
Bowtienutz replied to futurattraction's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Hang in there Scott. Enjoy the show. You'll have plenty of time to fix it when you get back. The website looks fine. Leave as much as you can up and running don't crash it entirely. Your're customers will work around it meantime. -
How easy it it for european's to do business across borders to Romania? I'm looking to get some model truck items from Dan's models there. Very hard to get here in the states other than evilbay. Would one of my prospective adopties be interested into looking into this for me. I can make it worth your time and effort. Drop me a PM.

If you bring your collection Luc I'll adopt you

I really like your interior work but you have to ditch the blue wires on the engine if your going for a factory fresh look. the wires would have been black and tied together with looms.

Mid size GM cars of the 60's were never built for fat chicks anyway, just little car junky kids that would build models when they grew up. Buckle up kids I'm gonna dust this guy!

Replica in Miniatures do indeed make the door handles and window cranks. Norm Veber offers two different versions one without vent window cranks if your doing a pre 69 car, I also offers outside door handles and mirrors that are just great for updating old GM kits.

Brett thanks for the complement on my photo collection. I also have a collection of the Red the car just follow the link. If your into wasting time and drinking coffee bookmark the site and poke around lots of drag racing stuff. I hadn't updated it in a long time because of fotki problems but now that that looks it's fixed I'm going to start updating it again.

Looks good Tom, Glad the parts got there in time, suggestion shorten the rear seat belts a little and give the buckles a wash with blue paint to make the GM buckle pop. Stack up some pieces of evergreen to replicate an arm rest base

I don't think if my bank account can recover that fast, I know the only way I'll be out of the dog house by then is to cook, clean, do laundry, wash her car, and do her nails for the next 8 weeks But yeah!!!! I be there you can bet on that.
