  1. Any ship builders have a Fine Molds 1/72 scale Japanese midget sub for sale? Please send a PM if you do. Thanks. George
  2. Something I read on a live model car kit discussion yesterday night; a person stated he heard or read a rumour about AMT doing a 70 Ford wagon sometime this year. Has anyone hear heard or read about this? Would love to read more about this. Thanks.
  3. Have any of the distributers reported on how the newly reissued 68 Coronet convt kit is selling?
  4. My gut feeling for what's next is the AMT 67 Galaxie. Lots of requests for that one through the years. Maybe some can give us a hint.
  5. Looks a good kit to do a pro stock. Anyone doing this one as a prostock?
  6. Just received my 2 68 Coronet convertible kits today. Very happy this came out. Long time coming. Overall, very happy with the kit. A while back someone mentioned in this thread that there are a couple parts in the kit that are for the 69 MPC Coronet kit. My guess is they are the two red and two clear police car rotating light lenses. Did I miss any other parts that hint a 69 Coronet? One of the building options for the MPC 69 Coronet kit was a police car.
  7. Probably can find on your browsing history. If you find it maybe you can post the link here.
  8. I heard it too. Good news. Good things are happening in our hobby.
  9. It's all good. You didn't do anything wrong. The pic that was posted; looks like a group of files listing the model car subjects. Where is that from? Anyway, if anything, this thread should show Moebius the interest level of an all new kit of the 70 Ford Maverick. This could very well get the ball rolling at Moebius.
  10. What would it take to modify the LA Chopper to a drag bike? Does'nt look that involved to do
  11. You need any help? We get about 20 of us, meet at the docks and unload that container. Have the truck there ready to roll afterwards.
  12. Been thinking about that as well. All other kits are coming out instead. Don't know what the hold up is. Maybe someone in the know could fill us in.
  13. My bad. You're right. I zoomed in to read the post-it note on the hangar shot. It reads " F-85 Funny Car convertible". Well, that's good. Good chance we will see this one come out soon.
  14. Here is the hangar shot. Is there a side view to confirm an awb body? When this topic first came up; Casey stated that the a-pilars on the body were sacrificed or taken off to do the awb body. There definetly are no a-pillars on the hangar shot body. Also, noticed there are no outside door handles as well. I think you're right, as I take a closer look. But, does someone have a side view of that hangar shot to confirm it's the awb body?
  15. The hanger shot only shows the stock convertible body, not the awb body.
  16. Anyone know if the 68 Coronet kits arrived in the US and on their way to way to the distributers?
  17. It was common back in the day for people to use their cars for towing campers, boats and cars on a trailer. Didn't need a 440 to haul a small camper. Even small block v8 engined cars could do the task.
  18. I agree. Would love for this one to come out. My gut feeling is the Streaker AWB Olds will be after the Time Machine AWB Chevelle. My opinion is not based on any fact or prior knowledge. It's just a logical next step for Round 2 with these AWB kits. Wanted to add that there is only a couple parts in the current Olds Cutlass kit that will go with the Steaker kit.
  19. Saw that too. Been on for few months. Not selling probably because the reissue is coming.

    Casey??

Welcome. Glad your back. Missed reading your posts.
  21. Absolutely! Just scratching the surface now. Just imagining kits we wish to could come out again could very well become reality.
  22. Tim Boyd mentioned that the 68 Coronet hardtop will be after the convertible. This is his response on that , which was a few responses up on this topic. I would expect a hardtop version to follow probably about 9-12 months after the convertible if past timing by Round 2 of derivative kits using the "cloning" method is any example. Later on, I expect you may even see a third version using this tooling set, based on the hardtop body, but that one could follow a year or two after the hardtop (my guess only).
