  1. Got foil on, paint polished and tail lights in. Next up is glass. Then wrap up the interior and get the body and chassis together. Thanks for looking
  2. Quick little mockup to get an idea of how it will look. I'm thinking the white interior will set it off. Thoughts?
  3. Not entirely true. The 07-9 engine is a 5.4 which made 500hp. The 08/9 kr engine made 540 the 2010 engine is also a 5.4 which made 540hp the 2011/12 engine is a 5.4 which made 550hp the big news is the 2013/14 engine which was taken to 5.8L via spray bore liners vs steel liners in previous versions. It also got the bigger 2.3l tvs supercharger and makes 662hp. If you need reference photos I can help. Have an 07 and a 14
  4. I just found out about this! I never met john but we messaged back and fourth a bit. He will be missed
  5. 67 camaro Typical Ford muscle car chassis. Correct finishes
  6. I'm glad you are back on this. I think I've been following with great interest since I joined the group!
  7. paint is coming along. No, I didn't make the padding. It was on the main hoop I dug out of the parts box. I'm digging that yellow duster! I saw it a while ago on here. What chassis is under it?

turned out pretty good. I've always liked this kit. I have one going right now too. I think your rear spoiler is on backwards though?
  9. Very nice. A black wash down on those carbs and they would look perfect
  10. Got some interior stuff going. Here is the direction I am headed. It's far from done but you get the idea
  11. I'm sure we can let it go this time! Lol. It will look fine. You just keep going. I get nothing done lately?
  12. no worries. It's looking great. Ideally it should have the finned aluminum covers instead of the stamped steel cover anyway as the switch over on the 428 cj was feb 14 1969 on mustangs/ torinos but shelby had their own finned covers on all big block cars. That's an easy change too ?
  13. It's not dead guys, just work keeping me away. Interior is coming together. I had to go with white inside. Pics soon
  14. Coming along nicely. One thing, your valve covers are on backwards
  15. No worries Tim, glad I could help. Took me a while to figure it out myself. You can barely see it but I thinned the door edge of the fender to help the swing and allowed a little for paint. Here is a shot with door closed to prove they work trouble free?
  16. Ok. So see how you have your hinges now? They pivot inside the fender and go into 2 tubes inside door. Flip the hinge and put the pivot in the door and the 2 tubes on the fender. That way the door pivots and the hinge does not move. Here is one I did. I will show a pic of how it works in one second here
  17. Good start. If you flip your hinges the door will open inside the fender like it is supposed to
  18. Glad you are getting healthy and getting back on this. Looking good
