  1. Maybe try your local DMV? Put a listing on Craigslist? Other than that, I don't know. I hope somebody can help you better than I could.
  2. http://www.deanshobbystop.com/1940-Ford-Coupe-Spee-Demon-early-1970-s.html Looks like this one? I'm not sure. Somebody with more knowledge than me will probably chime in.
  3. Thanks guys. Colby, I want the 53 kit anyway so I'm not worried about it. I appreciate your offer though.
  4. Nice Fairlane! Reminds me of my 78 Thunderbird.
  5. Here are my donors: Here is what started that idea: I'm thinking I may go all out and build some type of forced induction for the 4.6. I was thinking pretty hard towards twin turbo, but nothing is set in stone at the moment. The axles will likely be swapped and I may attempt to scratch build a different transfer case. I won't be starting yet, but soon. Hopefully before the end of the month.
  6. The elusive transmission that only seems to be offered in Hispanic-speaking countries. The any-speed Manuel. How hard is it to proof read? Or the rarest GM vehicle ever. The Chevy Camero. You might have a little better luck selling it if you actually know what it is. One of the words used by people my own age that has thankfully died off is the term "Clutch!" The only time I care about a clutch is if I'm riding in a vehicle with a manual transmission. I also love to mess with people who can't properly pronounce Porsche. My dad slapped the proper pronunciation into me when I was younger. The "e" at the end is there for a reason. It's not silent. Then there's Willys........ I can go on for hours....
  7. You're welcome Tom and thanks.I'll likely begin the build in the near future.
  8. Carl, that's what kit I was planning to start with. Of course it will have to be chopped and have a custom frame built.
  9. Ace, the blower from the 57 is what planned to use. I always wondered what those wheels were from. I didn't know if they were some kind of aftermarket or custom built. The more I look at those wheels though, I feel like I could maybe scratch build them. Tim, I'll have to checkout that 48. I have the 37 and neither of the wheels are close. Bruce, I may go that direction. I could them temporarily if nothing else. And lol about the truck's placement.
  10. Thanks Ace. I kinda figured that. I may just settle for the Edelbrock heads from the Revell 37 Pickup. For wheels I think there is an earlier version where the truck has stock-style wires.
  11. I'm wanting to replicate the Truck from this video. I know that it is a 34 Ford and that it was built by Jimmy Shine of So-Cal Speed Shop. What I would like to know is are there any kits with wheels of that type? What about kits with Navarro Heads? I would prefer not to go aftermarket because I don't have a credit card. Thanks in advance
  12. Nice! Gotta love Earnhardt. I wish that I would have been old enough to watch him race...
  13. Very nice recovery Ron! Beautiful!
  14. That is awesome! What engine does that represent? How did you do the flames on the side? I love everything about it!!!!
  15. Very nice Ford Mike. I'd love to find one in real life.
  16. I'd buy cases!!! Mine would be either the same as Dave's or a 90-94 Astro EXT.
